Bought my Toy Hauler brand new. Love the floor plan. I did remove the fold down beds in the rear and replaced with 2 nice recliners. Overall the Toy Hauler has been fun to own. Problem now is the Alpha TPO roof has failed and I need to replace rotten wood and install a new membrane. Alpha Systems are supposed to be warranteed for 12 years and like all of the RV companies I have yet to hear back from them in regards to the warranty. I have inspected, washed and caulked every year. When not in use I have a very expensive waterproof Cover for it. Anyone else have a Alpha Systems roof failer. ?? Show less

This is the best RV out here for full timers. Quality is great and no issues. We work remotely in this and have had a great time. best overall rv ive had...getting away from slideouts is so nice..this rv has so much usable room no slides needed...i owned a 40 ft 5th wheel toyhauler before this 26 ft bumper pull...wow..having my truck bed back with my topper on is so nice..and at 26 ft..you dont need a football field to turn around!!!..jayco makes a very stout rv..i dont even need sway bars...real plywood floor!! scrwes not falling out like so many others..wiring much better...the upgraded suspention system and sony sound system top shelf!!! vinal floor is so nice.but they give you precut carpet to go over if you want it...the 6 ft kitchen table is wonderful!!! its in 2 pc...after owning both fiberglass and alum siding rvs...ill take the alum ..up keep is nothing...and has a better look..my 40ft did not have a real bathroom..but this 26ft does!!..and looking at other bumper pull toyhulers many dont have a real bedroom..its in the garage area so while driving you have no bed....not so with this jayco octane zx...very nice bedroom with tons of storage!...love that it comes with all vents having high way covers and a very stout ladder..rear ramp is strong great spring system with the best ramp locks ive ever seen..if you are looking for a toy hauler or a rv that has a ton of usable room......and can sleep 8.....and be under 30 ft...boom...you found it!!! Some history to provide extra details for additional Maintenance we have done. During the first year Bills Happy Camper replaced a seal on front right hydraulic Jack due to leak. All Hydraulics working great. In May of 2024 Bills also fixed a kitchen slide which had a motor pop out of its housing. Both covered under initial and current extended warranty which is transferrable to new owner. MORyde IS alignment completed in May 2024 also at designated MORyde alignment service center. All Tanks cleaned in February 2024 with receipts and grades available. Also provided pictures of items you should be aware of but are at best cosmetic. I bondod are near hitch pin. A weird vertical angle leaving a gas station were the truck bed and RV touched. Bills also fixed a right rear area where the ground hit the rear right bottom. They could have provide new panel but chose not to. Picture in sun makes it look worse than is. All other pictures provided of that area doesnt even show an issue. Since were no longer RVing let me tell you all the other items we will be including with this sale.Fully paid for a transferable Warranty from Americas RV Warranty. This is the perfect Toy Hauler if you’re looking for year round camping or living. The 3 AC units are great for summer and the fireplace takes the chill off on cooler days. This camper has a lot of living space, I loved the seating area in this camper, it’s not just 1 couch with a tv at a weird angle because of the kitchen. It’s a couch and love seat with an entertainment center and the kitchen space feels like it’s own separate space. Also this model has an outdoor kitchen, which is rare for a toy hauler. The only con was the factory antenna which was easy to replace. Show less

The toy hauler gives you living space flexibility and the ability to transfer your toys in one unit. The reclining chairs give comfort and we found the bankette dinette was not needed to give a more homey feel while on the road. The option to use the Ramp as a patio and the ability to screen it off is great. This 30 foot unit is small enough to tow and navigate easily. Setup is quick with power stabilizers. Lots of storage space in cupboards,closets, under mattress and in pass thru storage area. Outdoor awning , lighting and speakers are great. Show less

Ours is a 2018 that we have had absolutely no problem with. I take that back, we had a small slide issue that Grand Design quickly provided us with a replacement part for no cost. We simply paid a RV mobile repair to install and its been great since! We have been living in ours since June 2022, purchased used. This has been an exceptional unit. Our 2022 Ram 3500 pulls this without issue. Lots of storage, I can't say enough great things about our home! Show less

We purchased this Attitude toyhauler in June of 2023. Immediate problems were holes in the bottom of trailer allowing rodents and dirt into living area. The onan generator would not keep running and the onan regional director found it was installed incorrectly at the Eclipse factory. The front cap is de-laminating and must be replaced. The hot water heater does not work properly. The fridge wont operate over 5500' in elevation. We began dealing with the factory on these warranty items in July 2023. As of 5/28/2024 Eclipse has not made one repair. Their warranty dept. is deceitful and dishonest to both their customers and dealers. I have spoken with 2 of their dealers who told me they will no longer sell Eclipse (attitude) RV's as their quality is horrible and they can't get the parts to repair them. Buyer beware! Show less

They'll make you as the consumer, jump through hoops to fix the problems with their units. Calling any idea they have "suggestions" so they can weasel out of coverage of anything done to your unit per their "suggestions" Even if you show them proof of the issues (video, written documentation, multiple witnesses, etc.) and show that the parts they've installed are out of specification - they'll assume no liability leaving you with the bills and an unsafe expensive camper because they choose not to fix it. They'll try to bully you into submission when you stand up to them as well, I've found and anytime they have information that hurts their case further they will call you rather than continue in email correspondence so they can try to lose the paper trails. They'll also tell you that people with 30+ years' experience don't supersede their techs who claim nothing is wrong when they've proven time and time again their products are failing. They'll also blame you - your experience, tow vehicles, hitch(es), everything they can to push blame from their units. In my case the trailers axles were installed 5" out of spec in terms of front to rear positioning, and also have a 1/2" difference between a front & rear hanger diagonally causing sway, bounce, tracking issues, movement etc. in the trailer. I've learned since that I'm not the only owner experiencing this issue and not many have found solutions that work. Those who have, I've tried with no difference made in my particular unit. Now I'm told it's my responsibility to pay a 3rd party out of pocket to prove (again) that there's still an issue. Then, once I do; it must be reviewed by their team before they deem it something they need to fix under their "warranty". I have since found cracks in the trailers frame and gaps / drops throughout the flooring inside. I have filed a report with the NHTSA at this time providing every detail, email, invoice, photo, video proof, and written statement. Show less

It's a handful to drive but runs good at 75mph. Phone support is good but many issues I was directed to the product manufacturer. Overall quality is garbage. Many electrical issues. Many electrical gremlins. Expensive and hard to find. I've had issues with LP gas Line, slides, leveling system, roof leaks, freshwater leaks, refrigerator to name a few. It's always something. wallpaper coming off, floor linoleum peeling up. DON"T BUY A THOR if you not a mechanic and experience with RV's Show less
