It was built during the pandemic, so everything that could go wrong did. 3 of the 5 slides were bad, the refrigerator doors wouldn't open all the way, the custom Morryde independent suspension was installed incorrectly and almost caused a catastrophic failure, (I'm still dealing with the problem now 2.5 years later) awnings installed wrong, shower walls delaminated, tank sensors replaced and still don't work, etc. The manuals and other would be helpful paperwork was virtually worthless. I asked for a schematic of the plumbing and the manufacturer stated they don't have one. The electrical system Is designed to work as the coach is delivered so if you want to install a good solar unit it's very difficult. Riverstone doesn't offer a good solar unit. As an example of the warranty service... When I discovered that the refrigerator doors would not open all the way because the cabinet was blocking them the response from the dealer was, "WELL THAT'S NOT UNDER WARRANTY" Now for the good news. Recently I ran into a couple that had a 2024 Riverstone Legacy and they stated that they had the coach for about 4 months and NOTHING was wrong. They have been living in it and found everything worked as it should. Therefore, I put my nightmare experience down to Covid.

Fortunately Alliance customer support has been very good.

This RV checks almost all the boxes if you need a toy hauler but still camp in conventional campgrounds as it’s still under 40’. This is the trailer for you. Good kitchen storage , kitchen is cramped with more than 2 people in it at once. Limited space for eating but good couch layout for watching TV. Big master bedroom and good size shower and great half bath in the garage for the kids. Small outside storage gotta get creative but still works. This trailer has had the least amount of problems out of my previous Dutchman and Forest River trailers. Would purchase again.

I decided to trade in my Motorhome for a Toy Hauler and chose Grand Design because of the supposedly good reviews they have that are very questionable today. I picked up my new Momentum 29G in December 2023, it was supposed to bring us fun and adventure. During the first rain, water started coming in through both sliders, the generator stopped working, black water started leaking, and the reclining seats came loose. I took it under warranty, they had it for 3 months. I went out in the RV and during the first rain, the same problem, water through both sliders and the generator not working. Three months again under warranty, they let me know it was ready, I pick it up and the same problem continues, water coming in through the sliders and the generator not working. 10 months later without using the camper, it is scheduled to go under warranty again. I have called and written to Grand Design and they have not resolved anything. This is my third RV, my first Grand Design and it will be the last.

Hello, I am writing to you because, as new owners of a 2023 Heartland Fuel 395 (purchased March 28, 2024), we brought our camper in for warranty service work to address several issues, one we feel is pretty major, which our dealer/service provider would not correct. Camping World located on West Freeway Drive in Hugo, Minnesota is our dealer/ service provider. Since just before our first trip, we noticed a loud squeak in the floor in the kitchen area in front of the refrigerator. See attached video, taken on May 10, 2024. It is loud and annoying. It is in a high traffic area. Camping World service said they would not fix it (under warranty) because Heartland told them it would not authorize it to be fixed because it is “within specs”. We feel this is unacceptable. This camper’s MSRP is upwards of $100,000. We have had a 5th wheel toy hauler in the past. Two of our family members have similar toy haulers. None have had an issue such as this. We would appreciate someone from Heartland contacting us to address this concern. Response: This has been reviewed by my management team. Please see page 6 in the attached owner’s manual we have for all of our RV’s. On page 6, under what is not covered, does state Accessories and equipment that are working as designed, but which owner is unhappy with the design. We always want to do what we can to help all of our retail customers. In this case, Heartland RV respectfully declines warranty assistance for this issue, and will continue to work with you under Heartland RV warranty policies and guidelines. D. I bought the RV on September 1, 2024 and still have not received it as they sold it to me with a title with a lien on it and 27 days later, I still cannot get a lien release, so I have still not received my RV. I have contacted the dealer over and over and they told me I had to wait seven days for my cashiers check to clear and then after that, I found out they did not have the title, then, when they did have the title it has a lien on it from a bank inMaryland, and they have been unable to get a release on the lien. Therefore, no proof they are in the RV. This should’ve been done before they ever sold it!

WARNING!! DO NOT purchase a Forest River Toy Hauler! The Ramp Doors they use allows water to enter at the top, and then run down the side of the ramp door undetected to the bottom of the ramp door, where it runs beneath the ramp door sill and under the vinyl floor covering (again, undetected). The Insulation used beneath the floor, rather than waterproof foamboard, is like the fiberglass used in older homes that acts as a “sponge” to soak up and hold the water and moisture under the flooring for years, causing MAJOR damage and wood rot beneath the vinyl floor covering. I purchased a NEW Toy Hauler Travel Trailer, and after just 6 years, the undetected water leaking around the Ramp Door and through the uncaulked gap between the vinyl floor covering and the ramp door bottom sill, caused all 2" X 2" Floor Joists, Insulation, Wall Studs, and Flooring Plywood beneath the vinyl floor covering to rot from the water damage. Although much of the plywood atop the 2” X 2” Floor Joists was still strong and firm (further allowing the issue to be undetected), the wood damage beneath the plywood reached nearly 15 feet into the 30’ trailer from the ramp door. Forest River limits their warranty to just 1 year, with NO EXCEPTIONS. Their position on undetected flaws and issues that are not discovered within their 12 month warranty period is “Too Bad, so sad” and “that sucks for you”! They take NO responsibility for their defects, including those that are hidden or undetected for years. Save yourself the headache, and heartache, that a Forest River Toy Hauler will give you. Unlike Forest River, there are better quality manufacturers out there that will take responsibility for an unknown “flaw” discovered in their product.

Problem now is the Alpha TPO roof has failed and I need to replace rotten wood and install a new membrane. Alpha Systems are supposed to be warranteed for 12 years and like all of the RV companies I have yet to hear back from them in regards to the warranty. I have inspected, washed and caulked every year. When not in use I have a very expensive waterproof Cover for it. Anyone else have a Alpha Systems roof failer. ??
