No communication. Zero, even though promised a call back. Starting in March, I was calling weekly for an update, only to be told that the parts had not come in yet.
We brought our 2020 Jayco in for a long list of warranty work. 14 items, to be exact. We dropped it off January 14, and did not get it back until April 30.
Of the 14 items, only 5 were addressed. Of those 5, only 2 were repaired properly.
3 of the items that NEEDED to be addressed are listed next. 1. Rear axle is bent, causing the tires to bow out when towed; I was told by Jody in service that Jayco denied the claim because axles have a natural curve for weight distribution. However, we had Les Schwab look at it this week and the axle is deteriorating and the brand new tires are cupped. It is going to cause a huge accident one of these days! 2. Slide out leaked underneath, damaging the bench and carpet; They poorly repaired this. Only replaced the carpet in the slide out, not the carpet trim on the outside. An upper piece of the trim is cracked, probably from screwing it in without a drill hole. The upper bench was screwed to the wall with a screw that is too short, so it isn't secured. Also, the wall trim that hides a seam is split along the bottom, probably from one of the "techs" kicking it while installing the slide out pieces. 3. The furnace only blows cold air. They didn't fix this. I was told the furnace works properly- however last weekend up in the mountains, it did not work. Two VERY cold babies can concur.
Our main door would only latch closed when you slammed it, and the screen door wouldn't latch at all. CCRV fixed it 50%. The door and screen latch now, but the deadbolt won't work because it is the WRONG striker plate. When I texted Jody about this, he stated that towing can throw the door out of alignment, but he hopes his tech checked the work but couldn't state if the tech did. So we are camping in an unsecured trailer, to say the least.
This is just the tip of the iceberg!! I won't bore you with any more details, just know they repair your trailer just good enough. I would have hoped for more pride in their work, but I guess not.
Final topping on the cake? I have been dealing with Corporate Jayco since end of March because I needed the parts for my trailer to be expedited. Now I am dealing with them to get the rest of my warranty work completed. Kicker? I am on the hook for a mobile repairman to fix my furnance!! One of the reasons I brought it in in January. I have called twice this week to get the service notes for my trailer, because I believe I wasn't provided all of them. Amanda in service stated that Jody is so busy with lots of customers and work that he is trying. So, I am NOT a customer?? What a crock of BS. Just email the G××D$$$ service notes so I can get my broken axle fixed!! One quick email, less than 3 minutes. Don't even have to talk to me, since you are avoiding me.
WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING!! But, there are only two warranty dealers in this area. Screwed all the way around. Wondering if CCRV could only provide a shit job, or if Jayco produced a shit product. Either way, it needs to be fixed!
