Please be advised you have a violent predator working there. After he attacked me online I found this out about him. The fact RV Wilder continues to employ this man is a current sign of their own morals. https://benstoltman.wordpress.com/... read more

The purchasing experience was great. That's all I can say about this place. I leaned towards a new KZ because the dealer spoke highly of the brand and even joked about the quality of the comparable Forest River unit we were considering purchasing. If you are thinking about buying a unit from these guys, you should know that the wonderful experience ends before the ink dries on your paperwork. This was a new 2022 Durango fifth wheel we paid them $46k for. I was excited about my new purchase on my hour and a half journey home. Once I parked and unhooked, the family and I opened the slides to check everything out. I noticed a dozen or so damaged surfaces inside (torn wallpaper, warped trim - things like that). I chalked it up to rushed manufacturing and places struggling to find help. I wasn't mad. Then I noticed the side of the exterior was warped from poor manufacturing. Then I noticed the roof was in terrible shape because in my opinion, it wasn't put on correctly. Every other camper I have owned had the roof membrane sitting flat on the plywood. This one has wrinkles all over the place and the caulk is bubbling and the bubbles are breaking. Looks like a recipe for disaster to me. Then I noticed the caulk around the front cap looked like it was put on with a paintbrush. So we took the new camper out for the first time. Immediately I noticed that they keys didn't work in ANY of the dozen or so locks for the door or storage compartments. Then we noticed the cabinets wouldn't close because they were put on by someone who didn't know what they were doing. So instead of enjoying my trip with the kids, I'm fuming all weekend over what I considered at this point to be a big piece of junk that I now own. Then the fun starts. I roll the brand new awning in on my brand new camper and it makes a weird sound. The awning arm completely self-destructed. Now, understand that this is my third camper. The one I sold after I purchased this one was a 2020 Grey Wolf by Forest River (the brand the dealer mocked over quality). The funny part about the Grey Wolf is that we used the heck out of it and never had a single issue. Yes they are made cheap. All campers are. But the Grey Wolf wasn't put together near as shoddily as the new KZ was. So I ended up doing what I was dreading. I hauled the camper back to the dealer and left it to be repaired. A couple weeks went by and I didn't hear anything out of them. Every time I have called, I've gotten BS answers from the staff. The last time I talked to them, the person on the phone said "I still need to order all of those lock cylinders" and immediately re-stated it as "I'm still waiting on those lock cylinders to get here". Let me shorten this up by saying this - I'd rather pay out of pocket the $1,000 or whatever it's going to take to fix everything than deal with these people any longer. I'm not a big fan of being treated like I'm a clueless idiot. I know these are common parts (they're listed all over Amazon for immediate delivery). I've got a feeling some of the supply chain issues are being used as an excuse for places like this so they don't have to turn customers away because they're backed up with warranty work. We bought this camper to use, not so it could sit on their lot an hour and a half away and have who knows what happen to it while it collects dust and rots away in the weather. When they tell you that your camper has a two year warranty, understand that it means they can legally fix it at their convenience and they will make absolutely no rush to get it done quickly. Missouri laws allow them to do this. [UPDATE] After speaking to the manufacturer (KZ), I found out that Wilder never even turned in a claim with them on the repairs needed for our unit. So it sat on Wilder's lot all that time and they never even moved forward with paperwork to get the warranty work done. They lied to us!! Great bunch of guys there.
