Purchased a 2022 Tiffin Wayfarer, took delivery 9 months later. Sales price was fair, but salesman was long gone by the time it arrived--which should have been a red flag. We've encountered many issues with major house systems and 'fit and finish' items/furniture/doors which Vogt RV either couldn't or wouldn't address. I provided Vogt Service almost a full year to address: 1.) a generator which would not support the AC (was told the generator was not intended to be operated while going down the road--which was confirmed as 'Not True' by Onan/Cummins engineer); 2.) a defective AC; 3.) an awning motor which did not work; 3.) an improperly installed house door, 4.) an inoperable back-up camera; 5.) an improperly installed booth dinette/bed. Issues began on the day of delivery. About a month later (after Vogt was unsuccessful in addressing no AC/no generator/improperly installed dinette bed), I requested they take it back (e.g. a 'lemon'). The sales manager just looked at us and only offered to 'let me' consign it...as well as pay the full 10% sales commission to them. It appeared Vogt RV thought I was unreasonable and, instead, should be happy with a brand new $150K RV which did not work. I'm beginning to wonder if Vogt 'slow walked' things so the warranty would run out before I could get things fixed...or frustrate me into giving up. 12 months after taking delivery Tiffin suggested I take my RV to another repair shop for the warranty work. The current service center has properly repaired all the originally identified issues and re-did a couple of repairs/installs Vogt failed to do properly. This RV spent most of its life at Vogt RV Service Center, or was unusable and parked while waiting on a part or working it into the Vogt service schedule. Some delays were also created when the Vogt Parts Department did not promptly order a part, or were unable to find a part previously received from Tiffin or their vendor. It appears Vogt Service technicians don't have the skills, knowledge , willingness or where-with-all to determine a diagnosis when it requires any amount of effort. It appears a 'quick and easy' part(s) replacement is more their forte (and I even question that from my experiences.) Tiffin should also step up their game and implement a viable Quality Control program; the dealer unfortunately, is stuck with making things work but don't have the needed resources.

BJ there detail person even spend lots of time giving us information on how to clean our new rv inside and out, He told us all about a waterless wash cleaner that works with our unique situation perfectly, and sent me links on how to get all the products. Even the guy that put our new Hitch and brake on our truck explained how it all work so perfectly that we were very confident as we drove it off the lot! We would highly recommend Vogt RV.

We purchased a 2014 Tiffin Allegro Bus from Vogt RV in Ft. Worth Texas. We flew in from Salt Lake City to pick it up, sight unseen other than the walk-thru online with our salesman Race Harrell a week prior. Everything was as he said, there was no surprises when we got there. They explained everything to us during the pickup and made sure everything was working before we left. They have an excellent and very knowledgeable team working together and made us feel very comfortable with our purchase. I would not hesitate to buy an RV from them again and highly recommend Vogt RV. Terry Champion

Our dealer, Vogt RV, DFW-Texas, is very helpful, responsive, and always super easy to work with. The whole Vogt team is great, but especially Chris H and David N (our guys) who made doing business so easy and comfortable. My wife and I had visited Vogt (and several others) over the past 2 years as we considered/debated whether to go Airstream, Class A, or Class B+/C, but we are so glad we went bigger and very happy we bought ours through Vogt. We purchased a brand new 2020 Jayco Precept 34G (farmhouse, full body paint, washer/dryer, upgraded the rear 13.5 AC to 15k AC/HP, and added a Winegard Roadtrip T4 Satellite and Winegard C2 4G LTE WiFi). Vogt ensured that everything was installed correctly, inspected and in perfect working condition prior to our inspection and delivery. We feel fortunate to have such a great partner as Vogt.

I bought a motorhome from Vogt in July 2018. I was told it would be checked to make sure everything worked perfectly. When I picked it up after it was supposedly "made ready" I was given a check sheet indicating all was working and no repairs were needed. It was far from true: 1. The check engine light came on right after I drove away -- Vogt said it would go away after some miles; instead, the turbo went out, stranding me in San Antonio for 4 days. 2. It had felt like a wheel was out of balance when I first drove away from the dealer. Then on the way to San Diego, it began to ride even more poorly . That ended up being a tire that came apart internally and blew out at 2 in the morning. I drove directly to the MB dealer in San Diego (just 2 days after leaving the MB repair shop in TX). It needed 4 new tires. 3. Every time I ran the roof AC, it would quit after 5 minutes, even if the generator was still running. Later I discovered that the lithium battery was not working and the AC was causing the generator breaker to trip. Then the AC would use all the power in the small batteries under the hood, draining them completely. The estimate to fix the electrical problems is almost $12,000. Vogt offered to pay $2500 disclaiming all responsibility. 4. Before getting to San Diego, the water pump quit pumping water. I found the pump filter clogged with green goo. After washing this out several times in a row, I poured bleach into the fresh tank to kill whatever swamp was growing in there. After many tries, the green goo was dead and I was able to clean it from the filter until it was gone. 5. They charged me triple for labor to install a macerator pump, caused by the fact the shop did not have the proper hose to make sure the black tank was empty (seems like a repair shop should have the proper parts on not charge the customer to obtain them). 6. I would give them 0 stars except they did contribute $ for a new AC unit. Even then, the AC installation left my solar charging system and furnace both non-working. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against them for fraud.

Do not buy from here. I purchased what I thought was my dream RV but was sorely disappointed. They received my camper from manufacturer, parked it and never looked it over for inferior workmanship. When I showed up it was still in the same spot. They quickly rinsed it off and passed it on to us. 20 miles down the road a woman pulled up beside us and said our RV tires were smoking. There was razor sharp aluminum rubbing the tires. It was skirting that was not trimmed. The hot water hose was not connected and water poured out the bottom of the RV. Had to drive 40 miles to get fans to dry out camper. Vogt says, “The customer’s always right, just bring it back in and we’ll fix you right up.” It’s a 200 mile trip. They had to order a new stove top because original was broken and installed improperly. The sound system rendered the tv and DVD player useless because of constant static. Brought it in. Vogt “fixed” it... I had to buy an add on sound bar and hook up my own DVD player. The hitch they installed has to be so high that I cannot open the tailgate of my truck unless I unhook trailer. I had already signed the papers when I discovered their “trailer hitch expert” couldn’t figure out what else to do. If you are determined to go rv’ing do not sign anything until you know everything is working and can be hitched properly to your vehicle. I’ve had 4 rv’s Over 30 years. Only my first, a pop up, was a pleasant experience. The other dealers told you what you wanted to hear to get your money and push you out the door. Buyers beware. Put the standard high or don’t buy.
