Ultimate Sh*t Show DO NOT BUY a sprinter from this company if you plan on keeping your day job, this a full time commitment to finalize the sale, arrange financing, secure delivery, fix the broken or not working items on arrival, navigate the at fault finger pointing and enjoying your vehicle (yet to happen still not working 1.5 months after promised delivery). The business concept of delivering 4 attractive prefabricated semi-custom Sprinter vans is good and the layouts are attractive but buyer beware Ultimate Vehicle is a marketing company and a marketing company only. UV does not manufacture the base vehicle, does not perform the upgrade modifications, does not claim responsibility for A/C, Stereo or any parts, does not deliver the vehicle, does not provide in-house financing, does not perform repairs and does not help you effectively navigate how to complete any of the above. Furthermore, the sales agent will push you to a website for additional customized part upgrades you can purchase from Midwest Automotive Design (you will later learn that this is who actually builds the sprinter vans interiors and they make their own sprinters but serve as the builder for UV) but NEVER did the sales agent tell me that nearly every item was already included. I purchased tables, routers, rugs, hangers, etc. and only realized 2 months later while reviewing the website brochure that on the checklist those items were included so I reached out to Midwest and literally caught them the day of them shipping the parts and was able to correct. You simply work through a UV sales agent that will completely lie to you about delivery schedules, then get passed onto a “client manager” who never returns email or calls but is never up to speed on things because he doesn’t communicate with the sales rep nor the loan company (of which he refers to as “our financing” (not true..the financing company actually is the best point of contact to call if you want to know what is going on) and after you complete the financing the “client manager” will only call you to ask what financing company you are using so he can complete the sale (I sent no less than 4 emails telling him I was using “his” company (which isn’t true)), the “client manager” then had no idea that the original sales manager called me and offered me another sprinter in different color that someone had cancelled with a “3 month earlier delivery schedule” (completely false) that the “client manager” had no record of. I had got so sick of daily check-ins trying to manage the process I just started copying everyone at the company I could in every email (still no results). Finally when the sprinter was done (of which I only heard from the loan company) I was told it could be several weeks for UV to find “the right delivery company” so there was no way I was going to have UV be in charge of the move process. I was told they would reimburse me for the transport only they couldn’t tell me what amount they would commit to reimbursing me until it was delivered and I showed a receipt. At this point I didn’t care I just wanted it out of their hands. Of course I am still working on getting UV proper documentation and yet to get any urgency on getting reimbursement. Then the delivery driver told me that the sprinter wasn’t ready yet and I had to wait longer. While in transit the sprinter was delayed (not UV fault) but had to postpone a trip by 2 days. Upon arrival the automatic door was broken significantly and wouldn’t work (this could likely have been the transport companies fault I am not sure) and then of course none of the interior main cabin lights, A/C or TV’s work. Here is the fun part. Now you get passed onto an “owners relations” manager who is really a nice guy but because they don’t build anything you are stuck on your own to figure out the system. First off, I had had it with navigating the UV process so I just took it to local Mercedes’ dealership and fixed the door myself. Mercedes then told me they don’t do work on the A/C systems because it is custom. I reached out to UV for help and they said “we don’t have record of what A/C system was put in your sprinter there are two systems we use and one of them has been not working well. I had to have the Mercedes dealership find the name and serial number of the manufacture and then provide that to UV which then put me in touch with ProAir (A/C Manufacture). Then regarding power and TV’s which still isn’t working UV is still trying to figure it out 2 weeks after delivery. As of today their email says “sounds like a power solenoid, main breaker, or main fuse but this is on the Midwest side.” You should be getting the drift by now, its constant finger pointing to who is to blame and UV completely misses the point that the client purchased the $200K sprinter from UV and expects UV to provide a single point of contact and to handle all issues on the clients behalf.
