Overall look and feel is good. Plenty of room in kitchen and living area. Bathroom has largest area of any we have owned. Mom n pops sinks and large shower, Large storage closet that is plumbed for washer dryer hookups. Advertised as a luxury model but comes up a little short on that statement. No outside ladder, no roof vent covers and pass thru storge is limited by the TV lift. I modified by cutting right side panel in half and put a 1/4 ply on back of lifter area to get more storage in this area. Something that could of done at the factor very easily. The left side pass thru area has a 5th wheel style plumbing and black tank flush station that takes 3/4th of the area. There is no vent fan for the kitchen the roof vent that is in this area we are adding a fan too. Materials are typical rv type but not luxury by no means. Biggest complaints had to do with Fun Town RVs service. his was a brand new unit and had multiple issues on and after delivery. Making an appointment was more like... your gonna have to wait till we have room on the lot and took 2 months to get into service and another 6 weeks to get parts. Issues found: 1. Main AC vents not sealed and blowing back out of return area. Their fix- a little metal duct tape. I had to remove all ductwork and made a new plenum that blocks off the air dump on bottom of unit. On inspection after removing factory ducting found one of the main plenums to the overhead ductwork was collapsed. Bedroom a/c unit has no thermostat and the fam runs continuous and is extremely noisy. 2. Dining table had separation crack in the joint of the wood. 3. TV lift jack screw was bent and binding. 4. Wall outlets not secured to wall and would pull out when unplugging device. 5 Refrigerator mounting at the top broke loose on a long trip. NOTE: this is a 12v refrigerator and has a lot of room, very nice. In general this is a nice unit after repairs and mods done. I would not recommend Funtime RV of Corsicana and their service dept in Rockwall TX. Did not get a proper walk thru and explanation of operations and features. Service was practically non existent and in the process went thru 3 different service advisors. This is an OK unit but I wouldn't call it a luxury travel trailer.

I UPGRADED IT CONSIDERABLY FOR MY PERSONAL USE. I DO MY OWN INSTALLATIONS AND ANY NEEDED REPAIRS. THE SO CALLED OLD SCHOOL WATER HEATER IS STILL THE BEST. PROPANE OR ELECTRIC FAST RECOVERY SUBURBANS STILL OPERATE BETTER THAN ANY TANKLESS! I HAD A JAYCO WITH TANKLESS AND IT WAS SO SLOW TO RECEIVE HOT WATER! TANKLESS WASTE WATER WAITING FOR IT TO GET HOT! I HEAR THEY FREEZE UP IN VERY COLD WEATHER. BEST OF ALL, THIS TRAILER IS A TRUE 4 SEASON UNIT. IT GOT DOWN TO 11 DEGREES AND NO FREEZE UP. I DID HAVE A HEATED HOSE WORKING ALSO. FOR THE PRICE, ALOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK! NO RV IS PERFECT! EVEN THE HIGH END ONES!

After purchasing a 2022 Grand Design Transcend Xplor, we decided to upgrade and downsize to the Jayco Jayfeather 19MRK, which is odd because the Jayco cost about the same as the Grand Design. The GD was built during the middle of the Covid pandemic, so it’s clearly a Covid Coach and it shows. The Jayfeather was purchased November 2024 and we’ve taken a few trips and have had (knock on wood) NO issues with it. It’s a small trailer with a Murphy bed but perfect for weekend/short trips, even with one large and one small dog. I upgraded the suspension with the Morryde 3000 CRE with greasable shackles and it makes a nice improvement towing with my 2024 Ford F150 Powerboost. The floor plan is smaller when the bed is down but once it’s up, there’s seating for 2-3 more people and we’ve had up to 8 people in it with no issues. An all around decent weekender once you upgrade the mattress (make sure to get a hinged bed). Factory Warranty/Support receives a five star rating only because it’s 2 years. I think ALL manufacturers should offer 2 years.

Lots of problems. Floor plan is great. Construction and quality, not so much. Under belly started dropping out after we towed it home, (about 20 miles), then down to OKC from just south of Tulsa about 30 miles. Total pull time miles for us 150 miles. (Except when we took it back to the dealership to fix the underside), then back to the RV park where we keep it. The dealer we purchased it from repaired it. Wall board inside won’t except adhesive hooks for like small wall clocks or anything without peeling off. First time we had it on propane the stove fittings leaked gas out bad. We tightened those up after a near explosion event! 2 years in the refrigerator quit working, hot water gas side quit working, (thankful it was both electric or gas), the thermostat for air conditioning and heating will just quit cycling the air conditioning unit, also the furnace, happens usually on the hottest days or freezing days and nights. Has led to the camper getting very cold or hot if you’re not in it to catch it happening. Replaced the Dometic 310 toilet just this year, leaking around where the pedestal joins the ceramic bowl. You can see daylight around the door frame, the stereo system quit working, the vent fan in the bathroom screen has never stayed on correctly. Let’s see what else. Well that’s about all I can think of tonight. (The thermostat problem has bit us several probably no less than 20 times). When we took it for the under belly repairs told the dealership but they couldn’t duplicate the problem with the thermostat so they wouldn’t warranty it! So, that’s all I have to say about that for now!

This was our first travel trailer. We bought it for our own travel and for taking some of the grandkids along. We really like this trailer. The updated look is great. The main bedroom area seems roomy and has a good amount of storage. I added access cutouts to the area under the bed for shoes, etc. Like that it has sliding doors for privacy. The kitchen area is plenty big enough for camping. The bunk area is perfect for kids and can handle adults if necessary. The storage under the bunks is very useful. The only drawback for us is the bathroom which is the typical small bathroom beside the bunk area. Love the electric fireplace and the fact that it can warm the trailer pretty well without having to use the heater. We do have the dual A/C units on this one and they are awesome! Way better than other units on significantly more expensive RV's , we know this from personal experience. I believe they could get it as cold as you could want it. Went camping when it was 111 degrees they kept inside temp at 72. I know you can spend a lot more but for us this unit was really great and fit all our needs.

Buying a Forest River product was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. We've had constant issues—starting with the slide-out, which has never worked right, trim falling apart, water leaks, and more. Reaching out to Forest River is useless—they don’t return calls, emails, or show any concern for their customers. When we took our unit in the first time, the tech told us the slide-out hole was cut wrong from the factory. Not long after, that guy was mysteriously gone—seems like he was let go for telling us the truth. Dealers are clearly forced to downplay the problems and claim it’s just an 'adjustment'—but it's a manufacturing defect, plain and simple. Total disappointment.

This volt1200 is an amazing travel trailer. It is a small rv . However it doesn’t need to be plugged in for incredibly long stretches if at all! . Everything in the camper runs off the lithium battery including the ac and microwave! It’s recharged by three massive 365 watt solar panels. The heater is a Truma combi that works quiet and efficient on propane which the unit has duel propane tanks. The camper has a heated and enclosed underbelly and large capacity water tanks.. 36 fresh 30 grey 30 black. My wife and I just went on a trip for 2 weeks in it and found it to be a great unit. The battery was either fully charged or mostly charged every day while just driving down the road. Not much is out there for these and I think it’s unfortunate because we have had great experiences so far.

I've had a Grand Design Transcend Xplor 261BH, and I couldn’t be happier with this travel trailer! From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like a perfect blend of comfort, practicality, and quality—everything my family and I were looking for in a home away from home. The layout is fantastic, especially for a family. With a spacious queen bed up front for the adults and double-size bunk beds in the rear, there’s plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. My kids absolutely love having their own little bunk area—it’s like their personal hideout, which makes bedtime a breeze. The trailer sleeps up to 9, so we’ve even had space for friends or extended family to join us on trips. The kitchen is a standout feature for me. It’s well-equipped with a deep stainless steel sink, residential countertops, and plenty of storage, making meal prep super easy whether we’re cooking inside or using the outdoor kitchen. Speaking of which, the outdoor kitchen has been a game-changer—grilling burgers while enjoying the fresh air just adds to the camping experience. Cleanup is quick too, leaving us more time to relax. Storage is another huge plus. This trailer has so much space for all our gear, clothes, and essentials, yet it still feels open and uncluttered inside. The build quality really shines through—everything feels solid and sturdy, from the hardwood drawer fronts to the upgraded residential furniture. It’s clear that Grand Design put a lot of thought into making this trailer both functional and durable. Towing has been a breeze with our half-ton truck, and the power tongue jack makes setup at the campsite quick and stress-free. The heated and enclosed underbelly is a nice touch too, giving us confidence that we can extend our camping season without worrying about the weather. We’ve only had it for a short time, but so far, it’s exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail, like the USB ports throughout and the Bluetooth stereo with exterior speakers, just adds to the overall enjoyment. It’s the little things that make this trailer feel special. If you’re in the market for a reliable, family-friendly travel trailer that’s built to last, I can’t recommend the Transcend Xplor 261BH enough—it’s been an absolute joy to own!
