We thoroughly enjoyed this trailer. Our goal was to snowbird, moving every three weeks or so, so we were looking for something towable but with the size of a destination trailer. This trailer met our requirements perfectly. We lived in it for three to four months each year, and we never felt cramped. The floor plan and towability were what sold us, and we truly appreciated those features. We bought our trailer new and experienced some initial quality issues after a one-week trial camp nearby. The dealer was able to address the major problems under warranty, and we haven't had any significant issues since then. This is a good-sized, very tow-able trailer that suited our needs very well.

We purchased our Momentum in October, 2024 from a Lazy Days dealership in IA. We drove from AZ to IA to pick it up. When we stopped for the night on our way back, we walked into the garage and the bucket seats had fallen off the rails and damaged the sliding glass doors out to the deck. This was the fault of the dealership not doing a proper installation. We got back to AZ and have been trying to get these doors replaced since that time. It’s now almost the end of April and we still DON’T HAVE the parts!!! The coach is sitting at Camping World in Surprise, AZ in the sun - and the kicker is we pay for covered parking! We are so disgusted with Lazy Days in Council Bluffs, IA as well as the warranty department for Grand Design. Buyer beware!!!!!

What do I like about this Camper??? The Opposing Slide Outs ~ The Center Island ~ The Ample Storage Space~ The Great Lighting ~ The Fireplace ~Ease of Cleaning ~ The Outdoor Shower ~ The Size Having opposing slide outs gives you more room than typical campers-makes it easy to move around- No claustrophobic feeling at all. With the table /chairs & recliner loveseat seating you are able to have company while you cook/entertain very comfortably. The Center Island has a sink and big counter which makes cooking, cleaning, and serving meals as well as displaying flowers very homelike. This island truly is an asset. It has tons of storage cabinets too! Speaking of cabinets- There are many cabinets inside the unit as well as storage areas outside the unit. The Kitchen/Dining/Living area has more than ten cabinets. The center island has cabinets at the center under the sink, another just to the left for the garbage (you can access it through the counter with a removable insert if you desire) Furthermore on each end of the island there is a pull-out cabinet shelf unit too. A large pantry cabinet with three big shelves for all your food, paper supplies, etc. And two side cabinets for your use. You have three big drawers under the counter next to the oven/stove top/microwave area. Above another cabinet for dishes/cups/glasses. The oven has an oven drawer too. Over the recliner loveseat you have more cabinets to store items. There is also a lift up seat in the loveseat for storage. In the bathroom, there are three cabinets. One huge, a big one, and one under the sink. Plus, a medicine cabinet and a drawer too! All have shelving to utilize efficiently. Plenty of room for towels, lotions, Q-tips, paper goods, and more. The shower has a hand-held shower wand perfect for getting in all those hard-to-get places with ease. The bedroom has big cabinets on either side of the bed as well as over the bed, with shelving. One side additionally has a small table with a drawer. The head board is very functional. Charging USB plugs as well as electrical plugs too. The shelf is great for books, tissues, phones etc. The bed lifts up to reveal a huge storage area with a small safe. We added hooks to hang coats, hats, and other items on two of the walls-More storage!! The TV turns to either face the living area or the bedroom. The TV/Music receiver console has full power, USB adapters and three-zones of speakers-Living Area/Bedroom/Outside. The Fireplace is wonderful for ambiance as well as heat. Used many times to warm-up the unit on cool mornings/days. Works efficiently. The lighting in this camper is well thought out. LED/sconces/over the table + counter/extras at cabinets to see inside/ small directional ones to use in the living area as well as bedroom. With a few skylights to further light. A few of the outside storage areas have lights too! Cleaning is easy with the vinyl flooring. It is plank style-looks like real wood. Brooms and mops effortlessly. The Outside Shower~ Hot & Cold Water ~ When you come home from the beach or riding your UTV in dust all day you’re able to get the main dirt off you before you enter your camper. Works great on dogs too! The size of this unit makes it very easy to pull and maneuver about the camp ground, gas stations, and parking lots. This camper is bigger than it looks.

This has been an excellent RV / travel trailer for what we needed. As first-timers wanting to live and work full-time from the unit, it was fine. * We did not travel / move regularly. We moved out from our home and towed (and parked) this 3 hours away for a few months (in WA State), and then moved one more time to SoCA (and parked). No challenges whatsoever with the towing, even in high winds. * 2 adults, no kids - we enjoyed as much of the outdoors as we could (especially dining and entertaining). * After trying the dining table as a full-time office, it wasn't efficient and looked untidy. Replacing the dinette (since it is only us and we dine outside a lot), was the best thing ever. The L-shape desk looks great, is sturdy (for an RV) and has ample storage. The raised monitor shelf adds more main desk surface space. * Since we never used the hideabed and it looked sloppy, we replaced it with a 3-pc modular sofa (adjustable back, 1 ottoman [an extra pc] and a ton of extra storage). It's very comfortable. ** The desk and sofa are a perfect fit and look like they came with the RV. * The closets (pantries) are very dark and deep, and hard to reach things in the back (you'll need a 1-step step stool). Added dimmable touch lights and used soft, durable, matching fabric baskets to keep everything organized (baskets will be included). * Between the RV-size kitchen and outdoor fridges (and indoor freezer), we had enough space. We also used a Yeti cooler for the summer to keep beverages on ice instead of taking valuable "real estate" (fridges). * AC (elec) and heater (propane, 2 tanks) work great - no challenges. The AC is loud, but it cools things down quickly. * The Queen bed is a true Queen (not RV size) and takes QN sheets. It is surprisingly comfortable. Hard to change the sheets but easy enough to make the bed. Could we continue to live in this full-time? Yes, absolutely. But we would likely upgrade to a 5th wheel with more space if we didn't have to make our unexpected lifestyle change.

Door entry steps are a little too high if you are short legged. The Holding tanks for fresh water, black and grey tanks are a little undersized. ok for 2 people boondocking for a quick 3-day trip. Cimarron has a unique roof. Read up on it. It is gel coated and take hail than any of the other campers we have owned.

The 2509S has many features packed in a smaller package. The Queen Murphy bed makes it easy to use the available space for either sitting or sleeping. The bunks provide sleeping space for 4 since they are double bunks, and the kitchen table folds down to a bed as well. There is plenty of space for 2 adults and 6 kids, or 8 adults who can cozy up. Or you can sleep 5 adults very comfortably. The towing is smooth with dual axles and electric brakes. The heavy trailer doesn't feel that way behind the tow vehicle with a proper equalizer hitch. With the off-grid options, this trailer can stay out for a week easily. The solar quickly charges the batteries, and the batteries have enough power to keep things running at night. With the max air fans, the need for AC is almost non-existent, especially at night.

The floor plan is great BUT, we have spent literally thousands of dollars in repairs since. The this RV is a money pit! Repairs so far. Main AC unit, replacement of Awning Hoses in Bathroom under the shower stall, in the kitchen and had to replace the water heater. Leaks in main bedroom. Had the furnace worked n twice and it still won’t stay in. Now the slide out will not come in. It’s always something and nothing cheap to repair. If I could pick this thing up and throw it back to Ri reside, I would. Arrrgggghhhh
