We have had to reschedule our camping trips 2 to 3 times because it was in the shop. The 1st year we had it they had it from November to March of the next year then as soon we took it out we had more leaks. We had leaks from both master bedroom windows and furniture coming apart, trim coming apart screens came out and leaks from the bathroom multiple times. Roof leaks and had to have a new roof for the bunk room and poor service department and manufactory

The sales department was easy to work with, that being said I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from this RV dealer. Had I done my due diligence and read the reviews I would never have bought from this dealer. That being said I drove 3 1/2 hours to purchase the Outback 24OUR and paid cash for it. After getting it back home and trying to set up the Winegard Air 360 I opened the cap on the inside of the RV where the wires were suppose to be hanging down and SURPRISE they weren't the only wire that was visible was the yellow wire. I called Summit and talked to someone in the service department and was told to cut the hole bigger that the hole would be hid by the Gateway Receiver well I did this and still no other wires visible. Called back the service department and was told I could bring it back in and they would remove the Winegard and fix the problem. Since I am 3 1/2 hours away and had put a Winegard system on my previous RV I could go ahead and check it out. After removing the Winegard I found the red wire completely broken off and the green wire wrapped around the inside brace of the Winegard. I called Summit and told them about this and was told that if I purchased a Winegard Air 360 and replaced it myself Summit would contact Keystone Outback and I would be reimbursed for the Winegard Air 360 after submitting my paid invoice to Summit. Well, I submitted the invoice and still have not been reimbursed and that was in September. I have made several calls and was told that the person that worked with warranty claims had left the company so then I spoke with the Service Supervisor in October and sent pictures of removed Winegard and invoice for the one I purcased and he said it would be taken care of and he would have the new warranty claim person return my call or he would call me personally to let me know if I would get reimbursed or not. I called him again on Friday, December 10 and he promised that he would have the warranty person or he would personally call me back before the weekend was over or the following Monday for sure. Well, today is Thursday December 16 and still have NOT HEARD from Summit RV. So if you like dealing with people who do not keep their word Summit RV is the place to purchase your RV.

I’ll start by saying the sales staff was great, they were straightforward and informative. That being said, I was offered a certain amount on my camper to trade in and during the discussions the camper that I was looking to purchase was marked down $3,000 less than originally listed. With the updated price I was ready to purchase but since they had placed their camper on sale they reduced my trade in value by $3,500 from the appraisal they had given me 5 MINUTES PRIOR, ensuring they would make more money off their "reduced price camper" compared to what would have been the original price. Like I said, awesome sales stuff, but felt like an overall dirty move by the sales manager. I know a lot of places will lower your trade in on a discounted vehicle, but just never witnessed it mid-conversation. How my camper went from appraised at $15,100 to 12,000 once their camper went on sale is beyond me.
