We had a terrible experience when we learned that damage had been done to the Caribou 11L we purchased. When we talked about the terrible calking job done on the nose of the camper, we were told that there was nothing wrong there. When we pointed out the slight damage on the driver side nose piece, we were told that nothing leaks, and it was fine.
While doing a regular maintenance shortly after we bought the camper to have everything recalked and to fix the horrible calking job on the nose, we were told that there was separation and cracking of the nose piece. I called State 48 RV and they told me to send the bill and they would pay for the repair. They also agreed that epoxy and recalking would be the way to go. Now, of course, after being extremely abusive on the phone, they refuse to pay. Do not do business with these people. We are 70- and 76-year-old couple and only wanted reimbursement for under $900 which makes a big deal to us but costs little to them. Not a way to do business.
