My mom and dad, James and Roberta Turner, senior citizens, bought a brand new Airstream Bambi from Southland RV in Norcross last year, and it has been nothing but trouble. Before they even used it, they noticed that the shower door did not fit correctly. They called them, and it took forever for someone to come out and fix it. Then, they'd only used it a couple of times when they got a notice about a recall regarding the stove, something about it catching on fire. Well, my elderly parents panicked. They called them to come once again and fix it, but someone told them it would be July before someone could come out! They already had several camping trips planned and paid for, and now they have to cancel the trips (without a refund). They are too old and can not drive to Norcross in a big city to bring their camper all the way back to be fixed (I hauled it home for them). Now, they are SO frustrated and just want to return their camper and get their money back. It should still be under warranty. It just breaks my heart for them... They need someone to come & get it & bring them a check. They have reached out, but they just got the runaround. I am very disappointed that they would treat an Army vet and the daughter of a vet like this. Ironically, when I first researched this company, the founders said they took pride in customer satisfaction, and they'd do whatever it takes to make sure their customers were happy with the Airstream. It doesn't seem like the case now. My mom and dad always loved camping. After COVID, they just stayed home until they decided to spend their life savings on an Airstream so they could at least get out again and enjoy nature. Now, they can't go on vacation again for fear of their stove catching on fire.... Southland needs to call them, come get the camper, and give them a refund.

I gave Service/Parts/Support a 3 because that is high for most RV dealers. They may be better or worse. They did a pretty good job when I picked it up. I gave Sales a 1 because the sales person didn't know his product (thought A/C was on side of unit Vs the roof) and failed to explain a number of features.... read more

I gave Sales a 1 because the sales person didn't know his product (thought A/C was on side of unit Vs the roof) and failed to explain a number of features. On the day I picked the unit up he barely said hey and didn't thank me for the sale or squat. FYI: He is related to the owner. This was the 2nd RV I purchased from them. Never again.

I am VERY upset! My parents bought a new Airstream Bambi, and the shower is VERY cheaply made. It does not fit, so my parents cannot use it (unless they want water everywhere). We called them immediately and told them about the defect. No one would help. We have called several times, and all they say is to take it somewhere to be fixed. But it was defective when they bought it! Why should they take their time and pay to fix a defect? Southland needs to come out to their house and fix it! My parents are trying to go camping, but they won't be able to take a shower! They paid a LOT of money. I need this resolved immediately. Please call 706-218-4744.

I have been communicating with this dealership for two weeks, about their "New 2022 Coachmen RV Cross Trail". They have three of them advertised for $89,995", of those three, they are NOT willing to sell any of them at that price. Instead this dealership insists and requires all buyers to pay more than $92,000 for any of these units. I see this as a violation of fair sales practices, and using the "bait and switch" gimmick to attract unwitting customers to their dealership. They place a "Unit pending sale" notice on all of them in order to get buyers to believe this gimmick, then they tell you "oh, that unit sold yesterday". I DO NOT recommend them to anyone who wants a fair price.

We had been dealing with Jesse there for over a month on the phone, gathering information about various RV's. We are experienced RV owners, having owned 3 high end bus chassis and a variety of trailers. Never have I experienced such terrible customer service as this place when we made the 5 hour trip, money in hand to buy something with cash. I called Jesse the day before we left, told him we would be there around noon the next day. We got there, and he is off on Tuesdays, tho he did send an email saying he had an emergency. No one was expecting us, and the sales rep was a jackass to put it mildly. I won't go back, and we had intended to spend between $65 to 120K that day! I got the impression they didn't care, I left a message for sales manager, no return call, I emailed Jesse to tell him what had happened, also no return call or email! I don't have to buy an RV, we WANTED one, but I will travel all the way back to CA for one if need be to get what I want at a decent price and good customer service from Sales and Service!

BUYER BEWARE !!!!This dealership is very dishonest. They called us and solicited a like "brand new" 2020 LTV Wonder with only 1500 miles. After purchasing for almost full MSRP due to the scarcity and the condition, we have since been stranded and broken down on the side of the highway 2 times with diesel fuel leaking out in the engine compartment and smoking!! Come to find out, the dealer actually bailed out a previous customer and picked this unit up at a Ford dealership off of repairs for CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE WITH METAL CONTAMINATION!! Even though we asked and were told numerous times that this vehicle had no issues to their knowledge, we were told over and over not they were aware of. These were all lies, and now they refuse to take the vehicle back and make this right. Just told that it is under warranty and we should deal with Ford...unbelievable how crooked these three owners are to allow this deceptive and shady sales practice to occur with no conscience, allowing a family to have their lives put in danger just to make a sale!?!? Leisure claims they can not make the dealer fix this, but have stated that they disagree strongly with this practice of not disclosing these major issues prior to sale. Contacting every agency and site to make others aware. Think this could be criminal, but at very least unethical and not allowed in the state of Georgia or Illinois.
