My wife and I are looking for a truck camper. After going online and seeing a few at Scott's, we decided to go on a road trip. Over three hours worth of driving we arrived. Truck campers were right out front. Knowing what they had from the website, a used Lance, and two new Palomino's. We looked around for 15 minutes or so, and no one came out. Okay, I will go inside. In the cubical there were two people, an older gentleman and a woman. We walked around the showroom, looked at the tiny unit on display, must have been inside close to 10 minutes. I finally went to the counter/cubical area and asked the older gentleman, can someone help me, I am interested in a truck camper. He said, let me get a salesperson for you. Okay, I will be outside near the units. My wife and I went into the Palomino;s again, and the preowned Lance. This time we were a bit more attentive to the condition. The carpet was filthy! The oven had not been cleaned in a while by the looks. I am thinking, why would anyone not clean this up before they traded it in? Okay, some people would I guess, certainly we wouldn't. But, why in hell would Scott's advertise this on their site looking like this? It's now been 15 more minutes and no one has come out. I then looked at the tractors, After a total of 20/25 minutes now and the time even before we went inside, we had had enough. If they can't come and talk to us, what in hell would happen if we did buy something and needed service? I answered my own question, we left!!! I can promise one thing, I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!
