I am a 56 year old professional and my purchase from Richardsons was the worst purchase I have ever made. the have had my 5th wheel three separate times for repair and the leveling system still is intermittent. they blame everything on the owner/customer and take forever to make repairs. It is now out of warranty and I am considering legal action. do yourself a favor and buy private party after the repair issues have all surfaced. so far we hav had level system that fails 50% of the time, the slides don't operate correctly, the water heater leaked, the table top split, the linoleum floor has curled up causing a major tripping hazard, and the decals are coming off. good luck.

As any large purchase begins it begins as a pleasurable experience and as usual the experience sours after the sell that is to be expected. As any large purchase begins it begins as a pleasurable experience and as usual the experience sours after the sell that is to be expected. However Richardson's bring a whole new meaning to souring the experience. their service writers are either lazy or overloaded, I'm hoping that they overloaded. getting a return call on the status of your trailer could take days, this goes for the service manager as well. I have spoken with many patrons of Richardson's and they agree Richardson are helpful on the initial issue morph into( not you again). when you return. This does not have to be this way. Richardson's employees from the TOP down could use some additional training. I would be glad to provide that training for a modest fee. Thank you Lenny

We purchased all online with the internet sales representative. Everything went according to negotiations and was very competent and pleasant. We purchased all online with the internet sales representative. Everything went according to negotiations and was very competent and pleasant. The unit was delivered in good condition, with only a few items noted in the inspection. We brought the unit back for warranty items on 4 occasions over the 2 year warranty period, with 6-8 week lead time on appointments for warranty work. Work time rarely was more than 1 week, and sometimes only 2 days. Only once was there an item that prevented us from using the Jayco 5th wheel to travel, and the factory authorized a local shop to do the work instead of "our" dealer. Overall, we would definitely go back to Richardson's for another RV in the future, as we always felt they were setting realistic expectations. We appreciated their straight forward approach to the customer.
