We purchased a 2022 Passport 282QB on 7/6/22. The salesman we were assigned to was not knowledgeable on the campers we were looking at. He said the camper we were in at the time has a 6 cubic ft Refrigerator and I told him to small we do not want. I asked him for a printout on all of the details of this certain camper and when we went back into his office he went and printed out the info on this 2022 Passport 282QB. The printout said the camper has an 8 cubic Refrigerator and we were good with that.
We were pressured into buying, thou my wife and me wanted to think about over the weekend. Well, we purchased camper, and they had 10 working days to prep camper for us.
We picked camper up and went for 2 day camping stay on the way home. We had more problems with camper that I have ever witnessed in all of my years with campers.
The dealer will fix problems under warranty, but it has cost me in excess of $385.00 gas and all of the miles of going back and forth. I still have another trip in 3 weeks to fix some more problems. We have had 26 different issues with camper so far. I would not purchase a camper from Rich and Sons or have any work done by their service center.
