My review is from several experiences over the phone with the parts department. This dealership was recommended by the manufacturer of our small travel trailer. Contacted them and after confirming they did in fact service our brand of trailer, we provided four parts numbers and asked for a quote and confirmation the items could be dropped shipped to us. Were informed we would hear back within 48-hrs. After four days we phoned again, spoke to the same person who put us on hold. After several minutes we then spoke to the Parts Manager, repeated our request, and he assured us he would contact us within 24-hrs. After three more days, nothing. Giving this company the benefit of the doubt, that the issues was with the logistic/manufacturer, we contacted another RV Service Center. Provided them the same information and they said they would get back with us. Within 30-mins they called and provided costs and confirmed drop shipment. We ordered the parts and received a confirmation email the items were on the way from the manufacturer. Bottom line, we won't be dealing with RV Roadway in the future. Show less

Do not buy from this company!! I bought a Onan Cummins P4500i generator from them on 5-23-2020 and used it once on 6-13-2020. It quit working after a few hours of use. I take it back to them and after them not returning my calls repeatedly they finally call back and say no refund cause they can’t get there money back from the manufacturer. They can’t swap it out because they don’t have any more generators. They basically told me it’s my problem. Show less

I don't recommend RV Roadway at all. I bought my camper there 2 years ago and it has be in-service for at least nine months out of the 24 months I've had it. When they told it to me I told them about a floor issue and they kept telling well that's how it is. After a few months of having it I said this isn't how it was supposed to be, it needs to be fixed. Than they tell me my warranty doesn't cover it not does the 5 year warranty that I paid for. Short version of this story is it sat there for 4 months before they fixed it ( they did end up fixing it). Than I get it back in October and take it out in November and discover my slide out has a leek on it. I call and they y’all me just to hold onto it they are backed up, they will call me when to bring it in. I call back in December, they are still working on the ones before me, please wait. January, same thing. February 10th I bring it in and the board is ruined. They give very little to no communication, finally I get a call two weeks ago and the board to fix it has been shipped. May 7th I get my camper. In all this process I’ve asked multiply time to speak with Manager and owner and they never call me once. I go pick it up and ask,I’m told they aren’t there that day. I tried to have a conversation about swapping this one out for a new one and maybe working something out because of all the problems I’ve had with them. Well, a guy walks up with a sheet Of paper and I don’t see any help or deal. Just a list price offer and take it or leave it. All I love doing is helping small business that want to help customers and they are not it. Show less

DO NOT TRADE IN ANYTHING IF CONSIDERING PURCHASE FROM RV ROADWAY. They have refused to pay off the camper I traded back in early January. 3 months later, I'm still making payments and carrying insurance on a camper that they have not paid off. In addition, they've somehow managed to resell my old camper without a clear title which is clearly illegal. It's unfortunate that Mr. David Shannarah (owner) has no integrity whatsoever as he refuses to speak to me or any of the others who he's doing this to as I am not the only one who has this issue currently or in the recent past. (see other google reviews detailing the same issue). I have now been forced to have my attorney begin legal proceedings against RV Roadway and will also be notifying the Alabama Attorney Generals office as to his illegal business practices. It's too bad for his staff as they have all been as honest as they have dared and some of his staff have recently resigned and gone elsewhere and others have told me directly that they are looking elsewhere for employment because their owner isn't "manning up" and dealing with these issues directly and forces them to deal with unruly customers who are in the same situation as me. Be very careful when dealing with this company because of the owner and at NO time should you consider trading in anything because he will do the same thing to you as he's done to many others. Have had a slide issue now going on 10 month keep tearing the vinly flooring in kitchen area. Cannot seem to get it fixed. The Sandpiper fifth wheel 2018 has been in the shop since December 2018. We have been called to pick up the camper just to find that the slide is still dragging the floor and messing up the vinyl flooring. So went down on Saturday the 18th of May to clean out the camper of all my stuff. When we went in the tell the office personal Tommy what we was doing and a heated discussion about the camper and getting it fixed so we could use it and not just keep paying payment on a 55,000.00 dollar camper. I was told if I talked to any customer on the lot he would call the law, my answer was he had better call the law. We are just tired of paying for something and cannot use. The camper has had other issue with it not just the slide that we just fixed to keep from having to haul it back down and leave it weeks again. Forest River the manufacture just does not get in a hurry and they lie thru their teeth about issue. So everyone beware if dealing with RV Roadway and Forest River on buying a camper. They are the best till they get you to sign on the line. Then you have to fight for anything under warranty to get fixed. I really hope that this issue can be resolve pretty quick since we have 4 grands that we have plan to do lots of camping with this summer. We have already had to cancel camping trips due to this issue. So I would have a really hard time giving RV Roadway and Forest River any rating at all. They just don't stand behind what they sell.
