Here’s my story ! I bought from Paul Sherry RV for two reasons , one was Tim Martin wasn’t pushy and he was $3000.00 cheaper ! When my friend and I entered Paul Sherry RV I looked for Tim introduced myself and my friend and basically Tim introduced his tech man, who showed us the motor home and explained how things worked , I was excited , then on into see Tim and do some paper work , then to another guy to pay for it !
I drove my motor home off the lot never test driving it and it was one of “Thors Must Does “ directed by every salesman to do and that is a test drive your motor home before buying it , demanded by Thor Motor Homes but with my excitement , I did not test drive it , thou I had driven other ones just like it ! I immediately had to put gas in it , but ok , then I know more then got three miles down the expressway and the MotorHome Was All Over The Road , swaying back and forth and pulling to the right , OMG I was afraid to drive it , I called Tim and he said don’t worry about it , “ We’re Take Care Of It “ take it to anybody back home ( I live like 175 miles away ) and we’re take care of it “ ! Well I should have turned around and got my money back , because that’s when my nightmare started , Thor wouldn’t fix it and Fords wouldn’t fix it and Tim Martin and Paul Sherry RV wouldn’t take care of it !!!
I went thru hell !
The first place I brought it was Bill Brown Ford and they didn’t fix it right , then I went thru hell again trying to get it fixed and along came a air conditioning problem which then I brought to Blonde Ford and they finally fixed the front steering but not the air conditioning and then I had to go to another truck dealer finally to get the air conditioning fixed , now all along I texting and emailing Tim, Mike Sherry , Fords and Thor all on one email , where finally Mike Sherrys emails wouldn’t go thru and were returned . What a mess ! I finally got paid by Thor on the first alignment , the second very expensive alignment and the air conditioning, from start to finish it took me 9 months but that included months of where the Motorhome wasn’t being used !!! I can right a lot more but that’s the story for you’s to decide right and wrong !! I can’t say for sure if Tim or Paul Sherry RV new about the front end problem , BUT somebody had to of drove the Motorhome to Paul Sherry RV to know of the severe front end issue snd why wasn’t I instructed to drive the Motorhome before I bought it , when it’s one of Thor’s Instructions that out out to there Dealer Ships snd to there Salesmen ! On and the tech gave me the wrong instructions on how to winterize it !
