The service department is a joke. We purchased our class A from here and the sales people were nice and eager to sell. The price was good. I liked that they let you "camp" there on your first night to figure out if there are any problems. The problem is that once you have problems after you take your rig home then it is impossible to get into contact with anyone in the service department. It took 6 months to finally get in to have warranty work done. One of the things that they "repaired" under warranty was a leaking slide out. I was told it was not adjusted properly at the factory. Well after the first rain a few months later it continues to leak in the exact same place, after several emails and multiple messages and 5 months later to get it in they now they won't fix it because they say it is out of warranty. Same thing with the rear view camera. My suggestion is to find a place that has a decent service department.

The under dash AC was not staying on with passenger side controls. They charged us to locate and repair, claiming a vacuum hose came off under the dash. In the past year we drove the coach 2 times and both times AC problem was still there. We took coach to a truck mechanic and spoke to Newmar and found out the under dash AC does NOT work on vacuum. I requested MHSRV contact me to find out what they were willing to do about there dishonesty but they would not respond. I had to go to MHSRV in person and was told it was past 90 days, they refused to correct there incorrect and dishonest services. BUYER BEWARE!! THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. VERY DISHONEST.

I wanted to take the time and share our experience in purchasing our new class C Leprechaun 298KB from MHSRV.
I have to say, after reading some of the reviews, we were concerned. However, they had the Motorhome we wanted at the right price, so we moved forward. Being first time buyers, we did our due diligence and researched what we wanted. We also hired an independent inspector to inspect our RV. This was well worth the money spent, especially if you are not able to see it prior to purchase. There were a couple of hiccups, but David Garza, our salesman, was very attentive and proactive in helping us to get it resolved to our satisfaction.
We decided to proceed forward and headed up to Alvarado to take a look for ourselves.
From the time we walked through the door, we were welcomed and greeted with a smile. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. We had driven 8 hours and we we exhausted. She was very kind and accommodating. We had done everything online and wanted to see our Motorhome prior to our signing on the following day. Our Salesman, David was off that day so his associate, Mitch Bennett, was very helpful in showing up around. Our finance specialist Matthew Killiam, took the time to pop in and say hi and also assisted while I was having difficulties with getting the money wire to go through. I continued to have difficulty (big hint: if you bank with US bank, be sure to contact the Wealth Management department to get the wire to go through). We struggled for 3 hours trying to get it done, Chris the finance manager was very kind and helpful in getting this accomplished. Chris also assisted us with our closing, as it was Matthew’s day off. The following day we returned to sign our paperwork and take possession.
Our salesman , David met us on the day of closing and took us to do our walk through.It was a pleasure to meet him because prior to that time everything was done but phone or face time.
I have to say, the star of the day was Omar, our technician! He was a superstar! He gets an A+++ and deserves a raise and promotion! He was very knowledgeable, thorough and helpful during our walk through. He took the time to answer all our questions and did it all with a warm smile. He knows his stuff!!
We opted to stay the night at the campground on the premises. Omar even stopping by the following morning to check on us and ensure all was well and to see if we had any questions.
We headed over to the store before heading home, to pick up a few things and use our store credit. The cashier was very sweet and offered us more store credit for during a review. We opted not to do that because we were pressed for time and wanted to get on the road. I also wanted to make sure that I took the time in writing my review. She was surprised and didn’t want us to miss out on the opportunity but honestly, I didn’t want to rush my review for a few bucks. It is a great option and opportunity to get more store credit towards your purchases if you have the time, it would be worth doing.
Overall, we just want to say, don’t believe the negative! We had a great experience! There was definitely a family atmosphere and everyone was very helpful. Even when we encountered some hiccups along the way.
To be sure, is a stressful process. A couple tips…be thorough in your due diligence. Hire an independent inspector, it’s worth it, especially if you are new. Remember, you are purchasing a house that is going down the road, there will be issues! Blaming the sales facility for issues is like blaming your realtor, it makes no sense and gets you nowhere.
Finally, we had a stellar process and are now proud owners! Enjoy the journey!! Thank you again everyone at MHSRV for helping us to make our hopes a reality!! Cheers!

I think they must of changed ownership because their customer service is really bad now. Anyway i guess i will buy an Rv some where else since they didn’t want a chance to sell me one. Now i would be worried about buying one after the terrible customer service before the sale. Hope they fix their problem soon .

I actually can’t review the work they do. Service and parts never answered the phone or returned the 6 messages I left in 14 days. Took my business elsewhere. I’ll never buy here again.

I've spoken with Abbey twice, only because she answered the phone. Both times she said she was going to call manufacturer and get back to me. I've made SEVENTEEN add'l calls; left messages for both Abbey and the Service Mgr. and not a single returned call. This is how you thank us for buying from you?! The only good service we rec'd was from their contracts dept. Our salesman, Nolan was going to get back with us and left for vacation the next day. Never heard from him again. The tech, Iaasc was not professional. Joked around too much, didn't know answers to some of my questions and dropped the ball to follow up. Very disappointed in your customer service!! I have a call log if your interested. I'll be calling the manufacturer myself. The one star is for the contracts dept.
Update: After contacting Coachmen, THREE hours later... I have a tracking number for our new table from, Coachmen Galleria!!! Motor Home Specialist, you should be ashamed of the way you've treated us.

The most dishonest, poorly run, terrible customer service experience we have every experienced. From the owner/CEO down to the minions, they could care less about customer service and communication. Once the sale was final and they had their money and moved the unit it was pulling teeth to get repair work done and to get updates on the repair work. We had several issues just 22 days into ownership of a Super C Entegra Accodale no one cared or made an attempt to get anything done in a timely manner. We are now going to pick up our Accolade after 56 days of being at their dealership with work still incomplete.

They tried to make it difficult, for us to have it inspected, tried to get my wife to sign buyers agreement without my knowing, and tried to push their financing. Didn't want to let us drive the coach, asked us to come back for that part. Salesmen was nice, but his managers would say anything to move the process along, then began retracting promises throughout. 1 slide and the over head bunk, stopped working while we were there, they never owned up to the fix. We bailed on the purchased and it to 3 days for our refund. Bought an RV at another dealer. Night and day different experience and love our new Tiffin

I lost my full deposit, as it was not refundable, I even asked if they can keep on credit. They said no, never received any correspondence just kept my money. I bought and ordered the same Rv from Reliable Rv in Missouri and was approved for financing. I recommend you do not buy from Motorhome specialist, they are so big, you are just a number, and not a customer.
