HOWEVER. Two thumbs down and Boo to the service manager who was disrespectful, tried to be intimidating, yelled at us more than listened. Do better McKee, you might want to offer anger management classes to some of your employees.

We purchased our 2022 Forest River Berkshire from McKee RV in July of 2021. I find it hard to believe that there are all these terrible reviews because I can’t say enough about how well we were treated. We found the RV we wanted online and McKee and another dealership in Texas had one. McKee was a little cheaper so that’s who we called and made a deal and left a deposit over the phone. We flew out from NY to Iowa a couple weeks later to pick up our RV. They were wrapping up a few things and then spent a couple hours going through the whole coach with us. It had to be filled with fuel so we took the ride with the mechanic. At the service station, the 12 volt power went out. They looked at it at the dealership and thought they found the issue, but didn’t feel comfortable letting us go down the road until they could thoroughly go through it. Brad the sales manager took us to a hotel. McKee RV paid for our dinner and our hotel room. They arranged for a tech to come in early to go through the RV . It turned out to be a Freightliner issue and had to go to the local Freightliner dealer. McKee RV paid for our flights home. They planned on delivering the RV to us when it was done, but then decided that if we would prefer to drive it home, they would pay to fly us back and we did. Brad personally picked us up when we arrived. They apologized again and thanked us for our patience and understanding. They went over what happened. Turned out it was a very simple issue in the wiring. We went home on our happy little way. The only other issue we had was with a valve. My husband is mechanically savvy. They sent us a new valve at no charge and my husband installed it. Our experience with McKee RV was stellar. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They spent so much time with us not only going through the RV, but with the paperwork and just being personable and chatting with us. This was one of the best buying experiences we ever had. Prior to this we had 3 fifth wheels and then a gas Winnebago…all purchased from different dealerships so we’ve seen different ones. McKee is by far one of the best we have worked with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy an RV.

Cancer Diagnosis just before i pulled into the parking lot of McKee RV and will not refund my deposit ! because they heald it for 16 business days which include saturdays. For me to fly to DesMoines Ia. from Cape Coral FL
On Jan 21 I made a deposit to hold a Super c Dynamax 2021. McKee RV ad states they will provide 1000.00 fly and buy I didnt ask for it. Coming from Cape Coral Floriida Brad Debros stated a 1000.00 deposit would hold the RV till I arrived At 1 point i offered even more as i felt it was a nice deal and whatI wanted.
I arrived feb 9th approx 4:00 I arrived in DesMoines Ia and booked a hotel at the Doubletree rented a car and drove to McKee friday morning. At 9:27 am I received a phone call from my doctors about some recent test I had just completed. Dr Taub asked where i was I explained I was looking to buy a RV in DeMoines Ia today He replied you might want to put that on hold . After a 25 minute review I went inside to review Rv I went throught the process with Randy I believe i mentioned I had just gotten a call from my doctor. told him a litle about it. I left with all sorts of confusion inside as I now had confermed Kidney Cancer. kinda in shock I rebooked a flight for saturday morning out of panic at asan additional cost of 400.00 more in new flight cost No hotel or rental car refunds given. Randt said no problem aboutt he refund as i had stated I uunderstood if the kept it but would not be approprieate to do so.. randy said things happen and best of luck I told him Id let him know the out come after Thursday or Friday. I id tell him to releasethe hold last saturday Feb 11th In addition I sent randy a copy of part of the mediacal report as proof. Monday I sent more information that this waqs going to take a while and that I had biopys done Friday and kept over night for bleeding.
Now today Brad said no refund because they held it so long? Jan 21st was the deposit I arrived at McKee sat 11th 10:am 16 days business days. which includes saturdays
No refund he says be cause i mentioned I'd understand in a email being polite but was told no problem by Randy. Honestly my impression was Id be back after i get through these procedures which is going to take some time
I sent presonal medical records a copy of thephonecall from my internest which had a cancer doctor on the call explaining what anyone would certainly fear. Well I'm glad I didnt send more as I had orignally offered
I have proof of all I have stated and I certainly would not make this up.

Should be zero stars. On August 5, 2022, we placed a $10,800 deposit on a $216K, 2023 Dynamax Isata 5 Xplorer motorhome with McKee RV. We were told that the deposit was refundable if the RV was not acceptable to us. We are senior citizens trying to order our final motorhome to the exact specifications that we desire, and 3 things specifically make the vehicle unacceptable to us and McKee has refused to return our deposit. 1. The 2023 motorhome is being built on a 2 year old (2021) chassis. This chassis has likely been sitting in the weather for 2 years with aging fluids/oils and weathering tires. This is unacceptable...we were paying for a 2023 with nice features such as LED lights which are not on the 2021. McKee told us that this often happens on motorhomes. 2. The Dark Xplorer paint package that we ordered has now changed and instead of being a black Ram chassis, it is now gray and the external graphics are also quite different,. Mckee told us...sorry Dynamax made a change. 3. Internal furnishings included height adjustable Lagun tables on the the theatre seats. These have been eliminated and replaced with cup holder non adjustable tables. Lagun tables were important for us to use our laptops at face height for Zoom business calls. McKee told us to slant our laptops upward! McKee told us that the market has changed and that they will be sitting on this motorhome for months if we don't take it. Note: McKee already had this coach on order at Dynamax when we put down the deposit..we just changed the external color (which again is not what we ordered), and the cabinet paint color which is the latest and greatest. We can't see how McKee can keep our deposit when the coach is clearly not what we wanted and is not acceptable to us. We recently found these changes on our own through the progress photos on the Dynamax's Facebook site. We filed a BBB complaint. The Sales Manager (Brad) was extremely rude, not helpful, and dismissive....

My wife and I put a $12,500 deposit in January of 2022 to secure our purchase of a new Holiday Rambler Nautica 35QZ. Prior to sending our deposit we were assured (both verbally and in writing) that this amount was "fully refundable" in case the price went up prior to delivery, or if we were unable to get approved for financing at the time of delivery. We waited patiently for over 6 months, anxiously waiting for our new coach to arrive. Unfortunately and unexpectantly I was laid off from my job in early July of 2022. When I reached out to McKee to cancel our order and receive a refund on our deposit there was no response - at all. So now to add even more stress to my current situation I'm having to file claims with my bank, the Better Business Bureau, leaving reviews on Yelp, etc. Fun times.

My husband and I purchased a Class A motorhome from McKee RV in Perry, Iowa on February 3, 2022. All paperwork was completed on February 3rd making us the new owners. The RV was left at McKee to have an awning installed to be picked up April 26. We traveled to McKee on May 2nd to discuss the delay of the awning and to put some items inside that I had purchased. On May 20th we received a call that the Motorhome was ready for pick-up, and drove 4 hours to pick it up May 21st. When we arrived Randy Fagen asked if we had the license plates and we told him we had put them in a kitchen drawer on May 2nd. Upon entering the Motorhome we immediately realized that all of the new items I had purchased for the Motorhome were missing. I immediately told Randy that everything is gone! He went back inside the building and came back with the Sales Manager (Brad Drahos), who was carrying our license plates, a container of my prescription medication, and the pictures of our Grandchildren. Everything else was gone. Brad said he would give us “a couple hundred dollars” for our loss, and I told him the lost items were worth a lot more than $200.00. During the rest of the morning I had several conversations with our Salesman Randy Fagen. I told him that I had an itemized list at home with everything I had purchased and would send it to him the next day. The itemized list total came to $438.26. Randy told me we would be reimbursed for our loss. Brad Drahos refuses to do so. He has told me that I am being ridiculous for expecting this. They admit that the items were taken by their cleaning staff, but say “they were only doing their job”. As we pulled away from the dealership Brad ran out to the motorhome and told my husband they would send a check for $200.00. We expect the full amount of $438.26 to be reimbursed. McKee RV refuses. Because of the many service issues, theft issues and customer services issues, we would definitely NOT recommend doing business with McKee RV.

I only gave a 1 rating because they did not have a zero rating. that is what i got for accomidations from them. ZERO. June of 2021 I went there to get a price on a new custom built midwest automotive class b van. they gave me midwest order sheet and i filled it out as they where to lazy to write it down themselves. I specified all the specific information on it. all they had to do is fax it to midwest to get a price and call me with the price. I also told them i was a cash buyer, ready to purchase in the next two weeks before the mfg july price increase. they told me they would have a price back in a couple of days to me. never heard anything back. it is now feb 2022 i have taken delivery on my new rv from a great dealership in mississippi. I decided to make contact with them the the internet with a review of this information. they called me and was very rude on the phone and said it was my fault that i did not call back and ask again for the price. then they said dont ever bring it to them to get serviced. then they said they had me on speaker phone so the incompitent other employees could here the conversation. I told them that they where a fucking asshole. they hung up on me I called back and asked them if they really think i would bring it there for service after they fucked me. DO NOT EVER GO THERE AND WORK WITH THEM TO BUY TO GET SERVICED OR ANYTHING ELSE. YOU WILL REGRET IT JUST READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. CALL ME AT 319-631-1404 AND I WILL GIVE YOU TWO OF THE BEST DEALERS IN MS TO WORK WITH KIND PROMPT AND BY FAR THE BEST PRICE FOR MIDWEST AUTOMOTIVE AND AIRSTREAM BEWARE THESE GUYS SUCK

I purchased a new Motorhome from this dealership in 2018. I attempted to buy another new MH from them in February 2021 but they were unable to locate the unit I wanted so I ended up having to purchase out of state. Maybe that is where my problems started. I made my first warranty service appointment in September to bring in the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving for a Monday appointment. Needed winterized as well as a few minor warranty issues. They neglected to get my MH in on my Monday appointment and then a week later called my wife and said the water lines froze up over Thanksgiving and we needed to pay 4 hours labor to diagnose the problems. I called and talked to what I believe is the Service Manager, Mark who after going around with me a little finally agreed to fix it themselves. Finally after almost a month on their lot, they email that work is done. I get the bill for $300 for winterization and then $200 more for denied warranty work. Now I'm no scholar but having to pay for warranty work they couldn't get covered was a first for me. I agreed to pay for the winterization and figure out the rest. Mark was gone the day I picked it up and so attempted to talk to the Sales Manager Brad and the General Manager John but both were too busy to talk with me and kept sending the Advisor back and forth. They refused to release the unit until I paid all their charges, including the denied warranty work. Absolutely the most disappointing and shady dealing I've ever encountered. Never again.
