We purchased our Solitude late last July 2023. It had several issues that needed repair. The Solitude was purchased new over 6 figures. After multiple phone calls, emails, and texts we finally picked up our Solitude on November 13, 2023. They didn’t clean the unit inside or outside. We plugged into shore power and everything seemed to be working great. One of the issues was the replacement of one refrigerator door and the freezer drawer. Upon leaving Oklahoma for Florida I discovered that the ice maker wouldn’t work. Upon investigation it had water in the reservoir but wouldn’t freeze. I also noticed that $200 worth of frozen beef had begun to thaw. The reason as I soon discovered was that the seals were missing on the two doors your company replaced. The level of incompetence you guys display just keeps on giving!  4 months of it now. The bed was never repaired. I’m not sure what was going on when you were making the repairs but the island has gouges and marks all over it. I’m guessing when whomever brought in the replacement recliners they did it. Russell (Service Advisor) is the only person I dealt with that showed any professionalism. He apologized for the delay many times. He was also extremely courteous. Nick (Sales Manager) also displayed a desire to help us. Alex made the sale and forgot about us, real nice! Jason (Service Manager) is worthless. He never made one followup call to advise us of any progress. Actually no one made any attempt to give us status updates. I had to demand to see him to get anything accomplished. In fact I had to show up in person because other forms of communication didn’t work. Again worthless. I will never do business with McClains again, ever. I’ve purchased two Grand Designs from your store. Thank goodness the Imagine never had any issues. Grand Design has a great product. So if you want to purchase one go out of state.

Our Winnebago micro mini Winnie was still under warranty. They had us fixed and back on the road by 3 o’clock. Couldn’t be more pleased with the service provided by Regina, shop foreman Steve and Vince. When you are on an adventure from. NY to Cali and have a problem, service is king. Also a shout out to Erin at Winnebago customer service, super job with phone support. Thank you to all - Bill

Don’t buy an RV here! I purchased a class C Quantum Thor LC22 on February 12th. I didn’t pick it up until that following Tuesday and when I picked it up I was quickly ran through how everything works in like 30 minutes; with me being brand new to the RV world this was not helpful at all. I felt like they were just trying to rush and get me out so they could go home. I 100 percent do not think they fully looked over the rv and did the “fine tooth comb” they said they would do over everything to ensure it was working properly before they let me drive off the lot with it. First of all before I even got the rv it had a crack in the windshield and that was part of the I owe you on on the windshield. Once getting the rv home I realized the awning was not working properly and the passenger side door would scrape the top of the cab. I also discovered that the lock on the side door to the back was not latching properly. I called McLain and set up a time to take it in to get these items fixed. They fixed the lock on the door and acted like they didn’t know about the windshield, they stated that they sent in an order on the cab door to the company. They also stated that they had ordered a whole new awning for the rv. We finally had to call them to see about the issues and they said they had gotten the awning in and tried to call but no one answered (they never called). I took my rv in on March 18th to get the awning installed, and again when I brought up the windshield they acted like they had no idea on it and that they were still waiting on the cab door confirmation from the company. After waiting a week we called and they stated that they had to send pictures into Thor for the awning and get confirmation to replace it, when we had been told that the awning was waiting at the shop to be installed on the rv. After not being able to get ahold of anyone from the parts team or getting a return call we went up to the service department on March 25th to which we were told that Thor rejected the awning replacement due to not enough photos and that they were going to have to redo the whole application to get the confirmation by Thor to get the awning replaced. Then, again while we were there we brought up the windshield and it was just brushed to the side. My rv has been at their shop since March 18 five weeks and we receive a call today saying that it needs to be picked up and that nothing has been done on it; NOT ONE THING. Yet, that we need to bring it back in on May 18th for the new awning to be installed on it. I am beyond frustrated and wishing I would have never bought an RV. This was my first ever big purchase and this is absolutely disappointing!

This was my second travel trailer. We needed one to sleep 8 so Shawn Holub showed us one on the showroom floor and we loved it. He didn’t want us to only see the first one we liked so he showed us several more to make sure that was the one we wanted. Shawn made sure I got to where I needed to go to get the deal done and brought the trailer to my house (about 4 hours away) on a cold day. Thank you Shawn and everyone else at mcclains.

I have been a McClains customer since 2018. I did not purchase my RV there but we were new to rving and we were transferred so I needed a new dealer. I tried other dealers first but just wasnt happy,so I tried McClains. So glad I did. Friendly team and informative if you have questions. Yes, they have the same struggles with parts and shipping as everyone else, but they dont hold my RV hostage. They did a temporary repair so I could take my trip. And be aware if you need service from April thru September, EVERY RV service dept is packed. So if you dont have to have it done NOW wait till end of season. All in all, McClains is HANDS DOWN the better service. Friendly, courteous, responsive, accommodating and always, always informative. I feel that I always get my monies worth when I leave.

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. Simple repairs take an eternity to complete and are usually not done correctly and have to be redone with yet another long wait for them to get your unit back to you. Long periods of time are required for any service you need done on a unit you purchase from them. ... read more
I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. Simple repairs take an eternity to complete and are usually not done correctly and have to be redone with yet another long wait for them to get your unit back to you. Long periods of time are required for any service you need done on a unit you purchase from them. Their prices for accessories are very high and they are most often not in stock. I would not use them for another purchase or repair on my RV.

Bought a minnie winnie 2 months ago. 3rd rv from mcclains. First a diesel pusher, then a travel trailer, then current class c. All three were excellent on delivery. Any problems afterwards were promptly addressed by service department. Regina and Lloyd have always been fantastic to work with on service needs Robert and jeremy helped find the right rv and make it affordable. I highly recommend McClains rv and their service.
