I have been hesitant to write a review as our unit is still in the process of getting repairs done and I am scared they would not take care of the unit if I did. However, I feel something needs to be said.
Between the way a customer is spoken to and the complete lack of care of their own mistakes is absolutely insane to me.
We bought a BRAND NEW toy hauler from them the end of May. It came with a bunch of problems: cracked tanks (one being the black tank that filled the under belly), a leaking water heater, a cracked grey tank and a few other minor problems. That was extremely frustrating.
This is not even the beginning of the unacceptable portion. When we bought the unit they installed a sink at the washer and dryer hookups. We paid them to do this. The fitting they used has been leaking, I assume from the moment they put it in. We noticed water on the ground and pulled back the trim only to find a wet rag that they left (behind the wall unnoticed by us and no one told us), covered in mold(we have mold allergies), wrapped in an electrical cord, that is also sitting on an outlet for the range. The mold spreads on both sides of the wood and caused it to swell. That’s just what we can see without going further into the wall. I cannot imagine what is further back.
The lack of care or even apology is unacceptable. I have contacted them and no apology was made or even an acknowledgment of the safety hazard that was in the unit.
I have reached out to the GM (Scott) and have received no response. Ross,the service manager, is who replied with some canned response. I have reached out to Kunes customer care who said he would contact the regional manager and received no response.
I have tried to reach out to upper management but they have not returned my calls or emails.
So in short would I recommend Kunes? Absolutely not. Our unit is defective and no acknowledgement of mistakes has been made. DO NOT purchase your unit here unless you are comfortable with safety hazards and do not plan to need anything.

Is a terrible place to go to for service work or to purchase a camper, was taken advantage of by the sales department then by the service department. GM Seemed a bit racist! And was an impulsive liar....

Received an email from Kunes Freedom RV, Slinger store,the other day inviting us to their Memorial weekend cook out. I have not been there since they purchased it from Freedom RV, only my husband was, so we decided to go check out the new campers, because ours is a few years old. We had purchased three Brand new Jayco campers within 8 years when it was Freedom and always had great service and greeted very friendly. Today there was only two people that greeted us friendly and that was Kevin(a previous employee that knew us) and one new guy that was setting up a camper that was being picked up. The two receptionist totally ingored us. We were looking for a part for our RV, but the girls never asked if they could help us, they were too busy talking to each other. When I did ask a question they were not friendly at all, guess they didn't like that I interrupted their conversation with each other. We truly were disappointed with the new service people, except the two that took the time to greet us. We will not be coming back to your store or buy a new camper from your store. We will be checking with Scheiks RV from now on. At least when Gary and Chris owned it they always made us feel like we were important. Also your e-mail said it was a cookout, but there was no food or drinks or no explanation why not. Apparently your store doesn't realize that without us, the customer, you have no business. Sad!
