We purchased a trailer from them this fall. A number of folks we have run into while camping have purchased trailers over the years from Jerry's with good experience. Like many places they are understaffed so go there at an off time as there were two sales people at the time we were there. When we asked about certain accessories made by the company whose camper we were buying. Jerry's recommended an after market one that we could buy elsewhere. When I checked online the accessory that they cautioned against, it was poorly rated, and that was good advise. Since we are out of town, they recommended we make a reservation at a nearby campground when picking up the trailer to make sure there are no issues with the trailer before driving several hours home.

This January (2022) we were shopping for a very specific used travel trailer, an InTech Sol Horizon. We weren’t interested in any other model; we had done our research and we knew what we wanted. These units are hard to find and when they become available, they sell fast. We missed one at a dealer in Rockford by forty minutes. We found one via the internet at a small RV dealer in Madison, WI, 2 hours north of our suburban Chicago residence. We made arrangements to come see the unit. The day we visited the temperature was hovering near zero degrees but the onboard furnace was cranking away and making a difficult inspection much easier. The unit was so close to new it was surprising. We were verbally assured that it was winterized by them and all systems onboard were working as expected. We struck a deal that included the purchase of a front windshield cover and an Andersen weight distributing hitch. The windshield cover was to be delivered to me from the factory and I would install it as it is a very easy job and I’m handy like that. In a few days the windshield cover was delivered but the six-foot-long extruded aluminum track was bent in its packaging and unusable. I contacted my dealer and they made arrangements for a replacement to be shipped. For a part they won’t get to install. A few more days passed and a fresh part arrived. Three weeks later we hitch up the trailer in February and head west for a three-week trip to Arizona. Got out to Tucson and tried to deploy our Thule awning. As I cranked it out, I heard bad noises and stopped. Upon inspection I found fabric ripped on both edges, broken metal hinges, and one leg missing. Yikes! The next day I sent Dawn at the dealership an email explaining what I found and mentioning that we were assured everything was in working order. She stated she would order a new one right away. I was very glad to hear that but questioned her right away as to who was going to pay for it. She immediately responded that they were very sorry they missed it in their inspection and would replace the entire awning on their dime. Whew, that was close as these are not cheap awnings. Great, crisis averted. Weeks turned into a few months and no awning. More emails to Dawn and we discuss the unavailability of this particular awning. Seems they are no longer available from Sweden. Supply chain issues…. We remained patient. I started looking myself, even talked to the folks at InTech. They can’t get them either and as a result, they are fitting powered awnings instead of manual awnings on their new trailers. A lightbulb glows above my skull and I communicate to Dawn that I would be willing to pay the difference for a powered awning. She said to let her check the situation. She got back to me in another day and said a powered awning was ordered and should be in soon. I asked what my part of the cost would be, and pay attention here, she said they would cover the upcharge since we were so patient with them! That’s fantastic! OK, when I bring it in how about your guys install the windshield cover that you helped me purchase from the factory and I pay you for that? I haven’t installed it yet and I would be happy to throw some business back at you since you’re treating us so well. Told her this is a high-quality unit and they might not see us again. She said fine. A few weeks later the new awning arrived. We had another three-week trip planned in ten days. Dawn said they could get it done by then. I got the trailer to them the next day. Since the trailer was built without a power awning there was no power source or switch present. I scoured the web for solutions and between myself, the dealer service dept., and the InTech factory we got the power and switch sorted and it looks and works perfectly. Very happy! I was presented with a detailed invoice and a bill of $0. They even installed the windshield cover for us! This, my friends, is how you please and keep customers. Who is this wonderful dealer you ask? Jerry’s Camping Center 4506 E Broadway Madison, WI 53716 888-935-8967 I have read and heard every RV horror story for forty years. As we are retired and on a fixed income we need to spend carefully. Every interaction with this company was a pleasure and fair. I cannot recommend them enough. There is an RV dealer you can trust, and the name is Jerry’s! Steve and Kathy Gorniack

After waiting for 7 months for our camper to arrive, Jerry’s was very last minute in prepping it for delivery. They also missed quality issues during the dealer inspection and installed accessories incorrectly. The sales person pulled a fast one on me, scribbling out the trailer price and then marking it up $300 on the contract. Additionally, the changed the battery brand/model from what I was told was going to be on the trailer with no updated to me prior to me showing up to pick up the travel trailer. Since taking delivery of the travel trailer: the roof has leaked enough for pooling inside of the camper, the furnace does not work (despite say they run the furnace for a few hours to burn off the new smell), and the side has gone from making minor noises when extending to major clunking noises and binding. They also didn’t tighten down the propane tanks on the trailer tongue. I only discovered that the tanks were loose when I went to refill the tanks. And when I say loose, the tie rod that is supposed to hold the tanks in place wasn’t even attached to the tank plate. Only thing attaching the tanks to the trailer was the hose. My load equalizing hitch was also improperly installed and not installed in the optimum position. Communication with the dealer has been slow and difficult. I am still waiting to be able to drop my trailer off for a safety recall, furnace work, and slide out repair. Do not do business with this dealer. They seem to have little motivation to stand behind the product they sell.

I purchased an Xtreme Outdoors Little Guy Max from Jerry's Camping Center in July 2021. I dealt with Dave for the sale, which was conducted over the phone as I am in Minnesota. They had 4 days notice of when I would arrive to pick it up. It was not ready when I arrived. It had not been cleaned (inside or out) and they were still installing the anti sway hitch. The switch and enabling jumper for the heater in the optional lithium battery were not installed, and I was told they were not available at that time, but it would be shipped to me. I was charged $100 to install it, and now they were going to ship it to me, and not refund my installation charge? There are a number of other items in the trailer that should have been fixed before releasing it to me. I received a very short walkthrough. I decided to order the switch and jumper cable from the manufacturer, as I did not receive any response from Jerry's after repeated emails and website contact forms. The manufacturer informed me that ALL of the models of battery that I purchased are shipped with the cable and the switch. For anyone reading this review and considering a purchase from Jerry's my advice is DON'T! If you decide to go ahead with a purchase, approach the sale with a healthy degree of suspicion and skepticism! Do not assume the options you purchased with actually be installed or that you will get any warranty or after sale help. This is the only company I have called in my entire life whose voice mail message tells you to NOT LEAVE A VOICE MAIL BECAUSE THEY ARE RECEIVING TOO MANY CALLS! You are then directed to an email address, which they don't respond to anyway. It was that email that I requested a refund of the parts/service I never received. And guess what? They never responded. Stunning bit of news that. DON'T - JUST DON'T!
