When we first bought our RV we were so excited as we found the model we had been looking for. After we received ownership of it we started to get a leak in our front slideout. We contacted Hitch and they took our rig for an entire winter and could not duplicate the issue. I am not sure how they could not do it as all you have to do it run a hose over the slide. We have been back and forth with the facility since 2020 about this. They have looked at it a number of times and only this year did they find that the seal is faulty. They replaced the seal and the issue is still happening. Here to find out the seal was too small and now the leak is even worse. We cannot let our slide out in during rain which makes our living room unusable. We were told they were ordering a new seal that actually fits back in August only to find out that the team member in charge of ordering parts had an life threatening event occur(hopefully he is better now) and teat our parts was never ordered. Are we to believe that there is only 1 person in the entire facility that has the ability to order parts? We finally gave up on speaking with the Service Dept and contacted the Manager of the store. His response was that the issue is not fixed not for lack of trying. He than gave us the option of installing a $500 slide topper as a temp fix until the new seal comes in(no date given yet). So an issue that is not our fault that this company has not been able to fix is now giving us an option to spend more money to take care of their incompetency. You've got to be kidding me!

BUYER BEWARE! I am still waiting a response on her Facebook page. Dear Ms Williams-Levesque, As an owner of HitchRV, I am contacting you as a last ditch effort to resolve my issues before seeking legal advice. I will also keep this to an abridged edition, I am leaving a lot out. My husband can give a more detailed account but it isn't necessary yet. Three years ago, I purchased a Freedom Express 192RBS from a very informative salesman at HitchRV. When I returned to finalize the sale, I was informed that the salesman had left the company. At the time of the sale, I asked to have the BATHROOM fan upgraded to a remote control MaxAir, purchased an extended warranty and additional upgrades. When I returned, the camper I received was not the one I had asked for. This one had several cosmetic flaws. The new fan was installed in the BEDROOM vent, which involved rerouting wiring which caused bedroom outlets to stop working. Frustrated, we asked to have the fan moved to the bathroom, which they did. Then the pandemic happened and we did not use the camper much. This summer we brought it in to have the same MaxAir that was in the bathroom, put in the bedroom, along with a few smaller issues. When we picked it up and after I paid, we discovered it had not been installed properly. Wires were hanging out and the wrong sleeve was used. Also, it was not the remote control MaxAir. The manager observed this and agreed to have it fixed. She then called me to say they didn't have the MaxAir and offered a similar model, which I approved. We picked up the camper and realized that the fan they installed was a DOWNGRADE from the one they took out. Why didn't they realize that? I called and said I wanted the MaxAir with the remote control, no exceptions. The manager was going on vacation and I was told someone would call me when it came in the following Tuesday. That was about 6 weeks ago. During which time, I have called and left a voice mail message for the manager and a message with a gentleman at HitchRV to have her call me. I have not heard anything. In the meantime, now there is a leak under the bathroom sink, which caused water damage, over half of the cabinet knobs have broken off, screws fell out of the slide. The fan they installed stops working and it still lets water in when it rains which has wet my mattress and ruined my husband's drums. I am pretty fed up with HitchRV and would like my camper fixed and satisfaction on my warranty.

This business is actually Hitch in Berlin New Jersey… They moved. Save yourself a whole lot of aggravation and buy somewhere else. They are interested in nothing but selling you the camper. Once you’re done, if you need service… You are screwed! Mike Williams, Rich in service, And several others have all been involved in my request for repair as I just bought a 2019 camper this past October… 2021. They sell their campers with junk tires on them known as China bombs. I blew two of them on one trip, second time that I’ve had to camper out. We also discovered that the springs are bad which means nobody inspected this before they sold it and now they won’t cover a damn thing and they severed ties with Mae because I told the Service rep that he wasn’t worth his paycheck. OMG! The crap I have to go through right now and they’re telling me to take my camper off their property. But they’ve already told me it’s not safe to put on the road. When I mentioned this to Mike Williams he said then tow it! Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Mike Gilbert , Dan Hayden, Scott Hayden this is a review of your Business Hitch RV Dear People For your safety, please read before thinking even to put a foot through their doorstep I am not the kind of person that will talk nonsense online especially about somebody’s else business 🙏. I do not trust this crooked business even for a replacement toilet handle for my trailer, as soon as you are IN you are subject to be lied to and let you only see and hear what you would like to BUT noticeably big BUT what you will get is your biggest nightmare. In some point you’ll think you are been joked but nothing will be funny on your side and then you realize I just got scammed and by masters with over 20 years of experience in rushing you into signing on contract 2 min before closing time taking deposit in a form of none refundable down payment on imaginary fake financing agreement and they will inform you that next day they will be off so there will be nobody to talk with for the next 48 hours. As soon you pay, and they are requesting big amounts!!!! That’s it! you are Done! and with any amount could be thousands like they did to me and my fresh family, I don't understand how humans that sell recreational equipment that's supposed to bring families together stealing and ripping the hearts of these families to little pieces!!! me and my wife are heartbroken from all the money they took and we are single salary providing family and the way they did it to us looks like we are not the Only ones from what we see in reviews but that’s already after the fact now. The first few calls or visit they ( Dan Hayden) , will make you feel like somethings is mentally wrong with you but nothing is wrong with you it’s just this human feeling of not wanting to admit that you just got scammed big time like you read in the news and see on TV, Then after they see that you are hopeless they stop answering you and ignoring you completely like you are not existing anymore and you just bothering them now so they will be very rude to you and this is when it becomes very sad and complicated. You can see right of the back by you can see the lowest quality of salespeople that have no idea of whatsoever not even one useful information about a trailer that was seating in the lot for over 40 days before we came to look at it. Then Very sleazy Finance guy his name is Mike Gilbert that will tell you all the scamming nonsense in the world just to make you feel happy and sign the stupid papers ASAP by being rude misinformative that you just want to be out of there. Scott Hayden- Please don’t replay back on the review to call 856-629-7400 and try to speak with you as my wife left bunch of messages and no one still after a couple of months got back to her. At this point you already know what happened We got no trailer and no money they took $3400 on a declined finance agreement now they're saying no refunds on any deposits I'm giving the all brand a bad review as we tired to talked to Everyone and no one wanted or cared to help

I followed up a couple of day later and was told it would take a couple of days to hear from Forest River, ok. Here we are over a month later without parts and without any returned correspondence from Hitch RV. I even emailed the company, and, no response, shocked. Very disappointed.

I worked the better part of a day to reach an agreement on a unit with a sales rep. We agreed on price and I asked until the next morning to review it with my wife. He said that was fine. I followed up with an email saying it was a formality and inquired about hours and payment method. I emailed the next morning to confirm and heard nothing. Finally after calling and leaving a message I received a note that they sold the unit to another customer. He claims there was no contract. I would like to think there should be some credibility, good faith and ethics involved. I would caution anyone from doing business with them.

Unprofessional sales man but amazing service department. My husband and I purchased an RV last weekend from the NJ location. The sals man we had (Mike R) was unprofessional and complained to us about his coworkers. I found that to be unnessisary. We had them include a slide topper and vent cover in our deal initially and then removed the vent cover from the deal since we could install ourselves. When we went to get our camper 2 weeks later and the service department had no idea the slide out topper was on the deal as the sales man did not indicate it on the paperwork like he should have. Additionally the vent topper was not removed from the deal and we had to pay for the install. The service lady saved the day and got us the slide out topper and vent cover I stalled as we waited. The NJ location is 2 hours from my home and we did not want to have to come back.
