Last time I will ever do business with Great American RV in Memphis or any of their stores. I give your sales team upfront A 5 star rating and Terry the salesman and Michael the sales Manager are the best but I give the service department a 1 star. This is why you have lost my business for good. I bought my unit on June 24th 2022. This is a list of everything that went wrong with my unit, which I understand was the factory's fault. UPDATE: Now I am a little upset that the sales manager Michael told me they had to get rid of the 2022 Models to make room for the 2023 models and he specifically told me they were not making anything off my deal, because they had to get rid of it and I was buying it at their cost. I just found the exact year and model with the exact same equipment for $3000 less. Now I was lied to. 1. Every Valance fell off on a few different occasions before I could even take it home. It happened when I came to pick it up 3 different times. 2. Water valve was twisted 3. The wood panel on the side of the fridge popped out of the wall beside the fridge. This was caused by the factory putting screws in too big. 4. The trim above the reclining chairs was coming loose. They fixed that too. 4. The bed latch was coming off because the screws from the factory were too small and put in wrong. 5. Another trim was about to fall out of the ceiling and had to be repaired. 6. The skylight was not only put in wrong, but they left out 15 screws, and the sealant around it was cracked and a good rain would have soaked the inside eventually. That was repaired. 7. Stickers on the outside were messed up and took Cruiser RV a very long time to get the replacements. 8. Trim over the entry door was coming off. It is repaired. 9. The top and bottom screws holding the refrigerator in place were pushing the wall out. Screws from the factory were ½ inch too long. 10. The sawdust was so bad from the factory, it kept pouring all over the bathroom and they had to clean it out. ( still pours out ) I bought a vent cover and they were nice enough to put it in at no charge. That is when they found all the problems on the roof, so I am glad I bought the cover or would have had many problems. I have been very patient for a long time but everyone has a breaking point when you can’t get a return call when you are told you are going to. I have already sent a customer to Terry but they bought the unit in Hammond La. Terry did get half the commission on it. These are friends of mine and they have had nothing but problems since they bought theirs. After charging it and me coming to pick it up for the 4th or 5th time, the batteries were dead again at the dealership so I left it once again. They charged it up and it went dead again in front of my house after keeping it parked for only a week and I went in it and the batteries are dead again. Not long ago they offered to put another disconnect to my battery on the outside. I said no. One of the reasons I bought it is because the battery disconnect is on the inside. Today 10/25/2022 I called, told them about the battery, talked to the young lady and asked her if I got another battery disconnect switch could they mount it in the storage up front. Got a call back from the service manager and was told I would be charged for it. I told him I was done with Great American RV and I hung up. I will go “PAY” out of my pocket to have it fixed. 4 months now and because of all this I am out a lot of money. I couldn’t move into the camper waiting on another house for 2 months so that cost me. I lost deposits on campgrounds and already made 4 payments on something I still can’t use. I also spent $430.00 on two brand new AGM batteries but for them to switch it out at Great American RV was going to cost me $224.00 before taxes. Instead of you getting a lot of business from me, you now get none. I can’t in good conscience send you anymore business after what you have done to me and my friends. I am going to sell it, probably take a loss and buy somewhere else. As a disabled Veteran I will also spread the word throughout the American Legions and VFWs. A lost a lot of money on this deal and I mean a lot and I am sure you don’t care. I did get a call from someone at corporate. I was right, they really didn’t care.
