GREAT AMERICAN RV SUPERSTORES ! Great American RV SuperStores based out of Hammond Louisiana. ! They have 10 locations. I used the one in Memphis Tennessee. What started off as a five star review has gone from good to bad, back to good, then bad again, then good, then very bad and now horrible. I do give the salesman and sales manager a good rating but everything else gets a 1 star. I bought a 2022 Shadow Cruiser 228RKS June 24th, 2022. The day I took it home I had to bring it right back. They fixed the problem, but when I came to pick it up, the valance came off. so another wasted trip. I had to leave it there. When I came to pick it up again, another valance had come off. Another wasted trip and had to leave it there. When I came to pick it up a third time, another valance had fallen off and the batteries were dead. I had to leave it there again. The stickers on the side were chipped off and it took a long time to get the replacements. When they replaced the stickers I noticed bubbles in them which means they will come apart again, While there they also found a twisted water line. They installed a Max Air vent cover on top of the roof for me over the bathroom vent. While on the roof the tech saw where the factory had put the skylight in wrong and screws were missing. He repaired that including the hole in the roof membrane. He had to use 15 screws. Three trim pieces were falling off on different places in the ceiling on the inside and those had to be repaired. The wood panel by the fridge popped out due to screws too long close to the panel and the fridge. That had to be repaired. My batteries have gone dead a total of 6 times ( Update 8 times ) with the battery disconnect turned off. The service department didn't even have enough knowledge to find the problem. Also the latches were busted on the side of the king size bed and had to be fixed. I was patient for the first 3 1/2 months then had my breaking point. Very poor communication in the service department. I only had the unit in storage for a total of a little over two weeks in the 4 months that I have owned it. I missed camping trips, lost deposits for those. I was supposed to move in the camper for 2 months until I got into my other house. I can kiss that by now and have to pay my high priced rent once again, I don't care about the money. The owner of Great American RV did give me enough money to have the battery going dead problem fixed on my own and also gave me back the 4 payments I have made on it. It was a simple loose wire on the battery. The mechanic I hired then decided to check things out for me and found a lot of loose bolts underneath the belly of the camper. He repaired those for me. That could have been very dangerous. I asked for a 4 month extension on my warranty and they wanted me to sign a release form from Heartland RV who makes the Shadow Cruiser. I refused. After finding more things wrong with it, I asked for a replacement camper. I found one on the website for the exact same price. The owner refused, but offered to buy it back. I would rather sell it myself, take a loss on it, then give them the satisfaction of being rid of me, because by buying it back I would have to sign another release form and agree to take down the truthful reviews I have left. I refused to sell it back. They care more about their reviews than their customers. I have a lot of their customers that can back me up on problems they have had with Great American RV. If I was interested in making money I would have said yes. I would rather lose money, which I am going to end up doing rather than ever doing business with Great American RV ever again. This is based on what happened to me and I do not recommend this place.
