Salesman was not forthright, Service was very difficult the just want you outta there we drove 1500 miles from Park City to Salt Lake City in two cars to drop off leave it and go pick it up. The service department is overwhelmed but the two top guys Jeff and Andy were great but their hand were tied Tiffin doesn't send parts in a timely manner. We got the run around from just about everyone at General when you buy at an RV show the salesman was from another state and it was tough to get a return phone call. We didn't even know and neither did they know where my motorhome was for two to four weeks since it was transported from Ohio sight unseen and then we realized it was nowhere near the quality of the one at the show. The worst RV sales Experienced in over 15 years. The new trailer that we look at for a client was not prepared properly, the spare tire was not correct, batteries was missing,LPG tanks emptied, bugs sprayed on frontal area. The sales manager ridiculed the buyer on the fact that “eventually everything rust”, he will regret this statement now. To upset the client rudely they said “we sold the trailer” during this walk-thru process, the same trailer was still posted for sale, several days later. No apologies was stated, they are not to be trusted, very unprofessional management with unethical shady sales tactics to waste client’s time. Show less

Salesman was good. The lady that wrote it up and tried desperately to sell all sorts of costly expended warranty was a bit difficult to put it gentle. Getting warranty work done was exasperating. Several trips back to get the Direct TV working. Several trips back to get the dash AC/heat and cameras all working, eventually a Tiffin tech at a rally fixed all in about 5 minutes. We have owned 2 other new MH from 2 other CA dealers, Richardson's RV and Mike Thompson's RV, and the factory failures and Dealership ineptitude is the same. It's sad for the industry. Show less

Worst RV dealer anywhere! Last week I bought a $400,000 diesel RV from these fools. I paid a $10,000 non-refundable deposit and signed the paperwork via Docu-Sign listing the new 23' Entegra Cornerstone I bought. My conversation with the online person and then her sales manager took a few hours to complete the deal. They told me to book my flight to Chicago and pick up within 7 days. I booked a flight with United and when I was about to redeem a CD to pay for it, I got a call saying they made a mistake and it was really $600,000. They asked me if I wanted to pay $200,000 more? I should have known what kind of a place this was when the first thing the sales manager said to me when he called, was "How about Ceramic Coating"? I have dealt with three salesmen at this dealership. Only Mike Mallory has been polite, generous with his time, and gracious. Loyle and Blake were rude, dismissive, and treated me like I was a genuine bother. If I set foot in the dealership again, I will only do business with Mike. Show less

I would love to give this shady dealer 0 stars. The process to get our travel trailer was relatively easy. Our first camping trip revealed a stuck grey tank valve. It took several calls to get an appointment for the warranty work. Now, our trailer has been at their service department for two weeks. We were promised a phone call the Monday after we dropped of the trailer. We never received it. We have called several times. We have left three messages with our "service advisor" Kristin, and no one calls us back to tell us anything. Are parts ordered? We don't know. When will the service be done? We have no idea. Please, if you are wanting to buy an rv - run...do not walk...away from General RV. We will probably sell this unit and buy another just so we don't have to deal with this awful dealership. The sales person sold me a coachman Freelander 21qb. I am so ashamed and embarrassed. Wonder if he feels any guilt? Finance person was rude and unfriendly. Bad experience all the way. My experience with General RV was perfect. From purchase, to maintenance I have been very impressed. Even with the stress of the Corona Virus Pandemic, General RV has been going above and beyond to make things run smoothly for their customers. I went in for service and was greeted by a woman named Jennie, the place was packed and everyone seemed very stressed and overwhelmed. Jennie helped keep the front desk at bay and continued to check in with the service writers and even management. Our experience was amazing. Show less
