Once they had you settle on an unit, it was downhill from that point on. The service is horrible. They don't complete the repairs or dont complete in a timely manner. They have you come and wait all day even with an early morning appt. I was not the only customer who I heard was treated in this manner. Trying to get service is very difficult and then waiting until you can get the unit back is horrible. They had it more than I did for the first 6 months.

The experience with General RV on the purchase was great. The sales person helped us select what we thought was our dream RV. However, after bringing the unit home in less than 1 week we found several issues with the unit. If you are considering a NEXUS RV. Run fast! The air conditioning system doesn't work properly, there is a propane leak from the regulator, the microwave never worked, one of the batteries was bad and wouldn't hold a charge, the main slider gasket fell down due to not having a screw in the rubber, the hot water system wasn't working, the screen door was out of alignment and to top it off the cover for kitchen sink has a hole cutout directly above the bar that separates the to sink bowls. General tells me they are waiting on approval from NEXUS to repair the unit and Nexus tells me they have sent the parts and authorized the repair.
I can't tell anyone what else may be wrong as we haven't been able to use the RV. Again, we had it a week and then it went to the shop for service. Don't be fooled by NEXUS web site,.....RUN!

Used it for the first time in September 1st. We found multiple issues with rhe worst being leaking ceilings on the slides! General rv has had the unit since 9/6. They have yet to submit all needed documentation fir approval to winnbago and now they will not respond to my emails....cricuts! Once they have your money they have no interest in helping you.

Nothing gets approved out of the ordinary without their blessing.
Foolishly I bought a Coachmen Entourage at this place, and tried to take delivery 6 times for 7 weeks after I paid for it. Business Manager did give me some in store credit though. I am sure they never did a Pre Delivery Inspection because every time they said come get it, there would be another surprise issue. This GEN RV dealer is a discrace to Gen RV, They are located in the fastest growing area in the nation and with a fool born everyday, they got plenty like me to make a sale, make numbers and get away with awful awful customer satisfaction ratings. Makes me wonder if Gen RV Corporate cares. They see the reviews.

It is sad to go with the illusion of getting an RV to recreate your family and there are companies like this that are really out to scam customers and I have made two purchases with them and I have tried to change the unit again and the business they do for me is ridiculously in favor of Because the unit they sold me before is excessively overvalued and now they refuse to do business for me that suits me and can help me. I don't recommend them for anything, just like the guarantees don't work and are a problem and they don't respond to you.

Service Department is the worst, We had a warranty issue on a brand new class A and our so called service adviser blew us off for over an hour and sent in someone else as he said he was so backed up. Yeah right with a big plate of food waiting on him. Kevin Murray was so rude he did not even come and say anything like I am sorry I am backed up but this other adviser will help you, he just let us sit and wait. We had a small switch replacement that takes 5 minutes to do never got done by them! We took the part home and did it our selves. This is our 2nd rv with them and when it comes to service find another service center! Both General RV centers ( ocala and Lutz ) are terrible! They all run the same, they don’t call you back and they leave you hanging. Matter of fact our 1st RV was such a lemon and General RV had it more then us we traded it in at RV show in Hershey PA. And we live in Fl. Both Sales & Service are the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with.

Hello, I am retiring and decided to buy a Travel Trailer, I had looked online for almost a year. I had gone to one not to mention the name of the company too arrogant and pushy for myself. Then a friend told me about General RV of Ocala (that's where I am retiring ) so we traveled to General Rv in Ocala, I was nervous it was a big decision to purchase such a big item. I had signed in at the front desk, very personable reception. It was only a moment before I had a salesperson come to the desk and introduce himself, JIM HEFLIN.😊😊😊😊😊 The smile was very comfortable to say that I do believe I was in for an honest experience. We sat down at his desk for a while, he asked me what my criteria for purchase were, I want to buy a travel trailer that I could pull behind a truck not realizing he thought that I was wanting a fifth wheel which would be a better choice. JIM HEFLIN had the patience after looking for 2 days. I brought the most beautiful 5th wheel a 2022 Crusader. I am so happy about my new journey.

I do not recommend buying from General RV. I dropped off my RV off on December 30, 2022 and it has been 33 days that I have not received an update. The service representative nor senior staff have answered nor returned my phone calls. This is the second time I have had issues with General RV. The first time the issue was that they sold me an RV with a broken fridge that tool three weeks to replace and now I'm dealing with dead batteries on an RV that is less than 1 year.

What a nightmare! We met with the salesman Mike Sciotti to buy a 2022 Dutchmen (Keystone) Yukon 421FL. Great salesperson, nice, knowledgeable, bent over backwards for us. Five stars for Mike, Zero stars for General! He spent 3 full days with us while we were trying to decide, looking at it, going over everything. We were going back and forth between a Grand Design Solitude and this one, but finally decided that this was the one for us. Things went downhill fast when after the finance guy (Wayne) had all of the numbers worked out for us and we had to finalize the deal with the idiot “Freddie”, the supposed “sales manager”. All we wanted was an extended warranty thrown into the deal since we were paying pretty much sticker price as advertised on the internet. Nothing else. No discounts AT ALL. Another dealer in Winter Park had the same model that INCLUDED a Lifetime Warranty and was $500 cheaper. This “Freddie” guy actually yelled at us and told us that we “Already bought this one because we signed the purchase order”, and said “What do you want from me? I’m not giving you anything for free, these are the numbers you agreed to, this is the deal, there’s nothing else to discuss”. He was VERY intimidating and confrontational, so much so that hubby had to leave the room and stand in the hallway because he was afraid he would punch this guy. My husband has been in sales most of his life, owns his own business, and would NEVER treat a potential customer like this. We were TOLD to give the 1k deposit, credit info, sign on the dotted line to SEE what they could come up with money-wise. Not a sale, just an inquiry. Wrong. He told us that we were supposed to be taking “delivery “ today. WTF?? He told us that an extended warranty was “mandated by Florida State Law” to cost an extra $6,500 for 5 more years. No thanks. Lairs. Never again. We were warned by others in the campground and locals to STAY AWAY from General. Now we know better. RUN, DONT WALK, away from these thieves.
