Stay away from this place. We stopped by to look at a 5th wheel that was on their lot. After looking and talking we ran a credit app and left, this was on a Friday. Monday comes around and we get the "hey we got you approved". We go in and sit down with the finance manager. We look at the papers and the price went from $28,000 to $33,000ask about this and we are told that it is a dealer prep fee and doc fee. The doc fee was $500 so they charged $4500 for this prep fee, a p.d.i. fee of $2000 and a delivery setup fee of $2500. I did have the camper delivered but was told it would be for free, this is after I refused to buy a $1300 hitch that they were charging $2200 for. I was told the prep fee was because they have a tech go through and check everything to make sure it works, apparently they spend 6 hours no matter if it is a popup or a 40' motorcoach. Also that they have a cleaning person go through and clean it top to bottom. Well as for the cleaning it looked like a $75 a night hotel housekeeping job. Also after they delivered the camper I hooked my truck up to it to check and make sure everything was still working and in good shape, also so we could truly clean it the way the $4500 should have done it first. After hooking up and test things I check the tank levels to see if the level indicators work properly, they work fine and I find that I now have a full grey water and black water tank that I have to pay to dump. In my opinion this place is a rip-off and charge for things that are not done the way they are supposed to be done. I am sure there will be a reply from General RV stating that they are truly sorry and that this isn't how they do business but I know better. If they want to fix my issue, they can refund me that so called dealer prep and delivery fee of $4500 since I had to clean it and also pay to empty and then clean the tanks myself. When I asked for the refund I was told I would not get a refund unless I removed all my negative reviews.
