Spent allot of time searching for an RV on our own. Finally went to General RV in Birch Run, Michigan. We looked at everything they had on their lot that was within our price range. Sales people were patient and explained everything to us. Got a call 2 weeks later regarding a Freedom Elite 24 FE that had been traded in over the weekend and they called us first before listing it online. Took it for a ride and we were sold. Laid it away for 2 weeks and took possession with no problems. Sales staff were great. General RV goes through each used motorhome and fixes what needs fixing before selling their used RV's. With all of the problems I've had with my awful Keystone RV (which if I could rate at ZERO I would) the service team especially Drew, Matt and Avery, have been stellar. They have gone above and beyond trying to help me get my RV fixed (over and over). I appreciate the time and attention they they have continually given when it comes to scheduling and actually attempting to do repairs. Show less

I have an rv waiting to be repaired for about a month. Communication with staff it’s horrible. I was just given excuses over and over about my rv been done. First they received my Rv after waiting 3 weeks to bring it. I was told that looks simple and would take about 1/2 hour to look at it. I called numerous times and also Dutchmen with no response of a living person just a voicemail. Even manager replied back. When finally i have a response was via text and the results were not on my favor. I was told that i was scheduled to pick my RV on the 1’st of April so I decided to text to see if any response. 2 hours later had a text stating that the first is the day when they are going to put in in the shop to look at it. It’s been a month and not even look at it in the shop? Wao!! I always kept my RV under roof and now it’s exposed getting a chance of having water damage. Today i showed up to the store to have some answers and COVID paid consequences of the loss of organization that they have. Show less
