My husband and I stopped by on June 1, 2024 while traveling from Northern Kentucky. We were assigned to a salesman who escorted us to his desk. He began talking and talking to the point I cut to the chase and told him exactly what we were looking to see after reviewing the website. He got up left and came back. He said if we weren’t buying today then his boss told him to only show us “2 and 2” (2 travel campers and 2 Class Cs). I was so appalled that I immediately lost interest in this dealership. In all honesty, it ruined my excitement to see a lot of different campers/rvs, especially after driving 8 hours. I found this not only unprofessional but disrespectful. The entire purpose of looking at campers is to get an idea of what we want and don’t want. I asked to see a specific camper (provided the stock#) and was shown a bigger more expensive one. I understand salesmen wanting to make a sale, but this is not how you treat a potential customer. Needless to say, you lost our business and we will not be returning.

There are some great people working at this dealership. However I recently had RV services and had some warranty work done at this facility. Parts pricing appeared to be average maybe a little over. The labor rates are what get you. Before having anything done you may want to get round about timeframes on how long it should take to do your work. I was truly surprised with the amount of labor bill. The labor bill exceeded the parts bill by almost $400.00. Which doesn't sound like a lot. But on entry level trailer every dollar spent counts. I am not sure I will be going back to this facility in the future. Again service people up front are great its the labor only that creates the bad experience there.

General RV Service Department is incredibly ineffective. Needed marker lights replaced under warranty on my 22/23 Winnebago Solis. Was given a ‘special appointment’ for 9 am – but was told it is a ‘waiting appointment’ which means you must be prepared to sit from 9 am until 5 pm to have the Winnebago Solis Van in the que for service diagnosis of the issue. The issue is – look at the 5 marker/running lights see they have water/condensation in them – check my VIN # and see Winnebago has approved replacement. Then order the parts. Maybe 1 hour?? Not waiting up to 8 hours. AND then I would have to go back and do this again to have them actually replaced. How does a large RV dealer run a service department this way? It is absolutely ridiculous – oh yeah and since I bought my van at General RV this is considered ‘special treatment.’ Unless you are desperate this is NOT the place to service your RV.

2022 Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW purchased. Do not buy from here, and definitely do not get warranty work done here. Love motorhome, but would give General RV less than 1 star for service and warranty support if I could. Back up camera, ceiling vent fans, and bathroom wall bowed out - finally got in shop to get fixed in month 12 of warranty (Oct 2022), after 4 separate trips over 2 1/2 months to leave with dealer - each trip taking 7 hours round trip and over $100 in fuel. All repairs were botched. Wall never fixed, back up camera still didn’t work, and fans were replaced with wrong version without smoked lens cover. Service manager walked through unit with me in Oct 2022. Service manager said being past warranty wouldn’t be an issue because all items were claimed prior to the warranty expiration. They were suppose to get back with me to reschedule after they received re-approval from Tiffin….never happened. I contacted them in January ‘23 - told they will follow up - never did - contacted again in March - told they would check - never did - contacted again in June - no response. Went to talk with them directly in October 2023 when happened to be driving by after camping trip. They had all the communication from me in their software system along with their lack of response. They said nobody documented the Oct 2022 issues and unit was too far out of warranty. Additionally, they said I should have followed up more often and that I should call Tiffin. They would not take ownership of their non-response and initial botched work.

In February we purchased a new 2022 Astoria 3173 RLP from General RV. This is a fifth wheel trailer like we had never owned. Everything was great, until after we signed the papers. it was like no one wanted to help us. Someone was supposed to have helped us hook it up. I waited for 20 minutes to and had to go find someone.
During the first trip, the first shower, the shower didn't drain properly. The service department told us we had caused the clog and warranty wouldn't cover it. We had to pay for the repair out of pocket. The manufacturer ,Keystone, was no help either.
We have owned and purchased new rv's for 20 years this has been the worst experience ever.
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. AS SOON AS YOU SIGN THE PAPERS ,THEY DONT CARE ANYMORE.

Having to wait so long and more then a year latter still do not have all parts. Service that has been done was minimal and know my unit is out of warranty go figure. Attitude toward me is very cold to busy to listen to problems just want to hand off to someone else. I have bought 4 Rv before this one from different dealers with now problems that weren’t addressed correctly and quickly. I will never buy from general Rv again nor will I ever recommend.

This place is unorganized, sneaky, and leaves a taste in your mouth that resembles rat shit I would imagine. I was happy to know my last time there, I met 2 other people who had nothing good to day about their bliss at General RV as well. We were all stuck waiting on the next lies and bills with crippling results to show. Please do yourself a favor and only go in this place when you are thirsty or have to poop. Free water in the back and clean bathrooms. I would say the janitor is the only one who goes home from there proud of their job

When we called after getting home to say the stove and heat were not working, they basically said tough cookies. You bought it. You signed for it. NO attempt to make amends for what we were having issues with. If the alignment cannot be fixed 100% thus THIRD TIME. I guess we contact a lawyer for lemon law help.

By far the worst experience of anyplace I have dealt with. After buy the Rv Alliance I noticed that the light cover was missing. I tooted pictures and went to the dealership and talked to a service who the took the information and told they would be in contact. After several weeks I went back and and ask and they said it had been approved but I needed to make an appointment and that way the part could be shipped. I told them I didn't want to make a 30 mile trip one way just for a cover. No problem they would call me and could come and pick it up and I could install. Sounds great but hold on as month and a half later (today) I stoped back by to check to see where dit was. They looked up on the computer and said it had not shipped from the Alliance and they could not tell me when it would come in and had no what to check on it. I should call the factory because I could get helped faster. So I did and the factory told that it had been approved but the dealership had not ordered it. So back to the dealer I went and had the factory rep on the the phone they same time and the dealership said it was out of there hands. take it up with the factory.
They factory was very nice and said they would handle it and process it them self.
Stay away from enteral Rv The came to be different because they are family owned but they're not. Once you get out of the door don't come back till the warranty ove and they charge 200.00 and hr labor.

Please do not make the same mistake we made with this dealership. Everything started out nice with them making all the promises to fix and correct everything that was wrong with the RV. After negotiating the price for our trade in and the new RV that we signed off on changed once we drove back to VA to pickup the RV. They added another 5000 dollars to the price on top of not fixing the problems that they agreed to fix. The sales manager Charles had the worst customer service. He lied and cheated honest working family out of money. I encourage anyone who's planning to do business with them go somewhere else. They do not care about customer or the quality of RVs they sale.
