Drove my 5th wheel to Fun Town RV Denton to trade it in on a new unit. Picked this location because my wife filled out and instant quote online, and had been talking with a sales person. Got to dealership and looked at some 6-7 different 5th wheels. Went inside picked one out that the sale person could work on a quote for us. While he was gone my wife and I talked a few things over and decided to go home and think about our options. We were at the dealer for over 2 hours looking at trailers and talking with sales person. I guess they never thought to once take a look at my trade in. A few days later we go back this time without our trade in as the sales person told us not to, and looked at toy haulers this time. Looked at several and tried to get one that they didn't have on the lot but unfortunately that wasn't an option. We finally settled on one that was on the lot and basically finalized a deal with my wife and I signing documents agreeing on the purchase price and trade in. The sales person asked that I put down $1000 so they knew I was serious about purchasing the trailer. We left for the evening and were told to be expecting a call from the finance department to choose the terms of the financing. This allowed them time to install some options I asked for and I guess dealer prep it for us to take home. I arrived at my appt time today 6/11/2022 @ 3pm with my trailer where Dan & Dan came to check it out. Both of these gentlemen were at the dealership my previous visit to the dealer with trailer in tow and for whatever reason didn't look at it. They'll try to blame it on me for not letting them keep me in the dealer to haggle my first visit, but we were there long enough for any person at the dealer to look it over and validate quoted trade value. Anyway Dan & Dan look it over and decide that its not worth the quoted trade in value that we had agreed on previously. Then basically told me the deal that I had signed was null and void unless I was willing to pay MSRP to absorb what they thought my trailer was worth compared to what is owed. Anyway wasted at least 15 hours of my time and at least 40 gallons of diesel to drive there twice and today expecting to bring home a new trailer to instead return home with the trailer I left with. I don't understand how you can sign paperwork agreeing on a price and be at the dealer twice with your trade in and then when you arrive to close the deal they say sorry, NO DEAL! There were also a few other little bumps in the road, but I've written enough. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
