Our 2016 Fleetwood Discovery 40G has been an outstanding motorhome for our family, offering both comfort and reliability. We’ve taken it around the US for the past year, and it has consistently provided a smooth and enjoyable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the Discovery 40G made us feel at home. The spacious living area is perfect for our family, with ample room for everyone to relax. The seating is not only stylish but incredibly comfortable, and the layout allows for a great flow of space—whether we're lounging in the living area, preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or winding down in the master suite. The large windows bring in plenty of natural light and offer amazing views while traveling, making long drives more pleasant. Plus, the adjustable seating and high-quality mattresses have ensured restful nights, making us feel as though we’re staying in a luxury hotel on wheels. What truly sets the 40G apart is its reliability. We’ve traveled far and wide in this coach, and it has handled everything with ease. The powerful diesel engine has plenty of power for both the open road and any inclines, while the smooth ride and stability of the chassis make driving and parking stress-free. We have also towed our Honda CRV without issue. The coach is so powerful, you can't even feel the car back there. The built-in technology, including the navigation system and backup camera, has always performed flawlessly, and maintenance has been minimal. The coach has proven to be durable, and we’ve never had any significant issues, making it a true “set it and forget it” experience. The 2016 Fleetwood Discovery 40G comes packed with excellent features that elevate the RV experience. The outdoor entertainment area with a large awning has been perfect for family gatherings, and the full-size refrigerator, convection microwave, dishwasher and ample counter space in the kitchen make preparing meals easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the HVAC system keeps us comfortable year-round, and the bathroom and shower have more than enough space for a motorhome of its size. We can confidently say that the 2016 Fleetwood Discovery 40G has been a fantastic investment. It offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and reliability, making it ideal for families like ours. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded, luxurious motorhome.

I was so disappointed with the 2024 Hampton 388fkl. Bought it new. Very poor support and workmanship. Continuously getting piping leaks, mould everywhere. Within 3 weeks I feel thru the step going down to the bedroom and fell bad enough that I had to have surgery on my knee. The step was made of 1/4 " plywood with no support at the back of it or on the centre. Took 3 months to get them to fix it. All kinds of mould under it on the floor. The freshwater pump which I never had to use as I was attached to town water it ruptured and spewed water all over. Had to fix it myself as they had no time or manpower to do it. Furnace wouldn't run right and had to be replaced. Thermostat wouldn't work right and was changed out 2 times. The heat thermostat also does not come back on after an electrical outcome. Not good when you are out overnight and it turns off during freezing weather or you wake up to it being off for the night. Heat is not distributed very well as most of the heat poured into the bathroom and very little to the livingroom and kitchen. Had to run water on hot for 10-15 minutes to get hot water out to the kitchen. Fan above the stove never worked and couldn't get them to replace it. Hot water inline heater died within a year and they wouldn't replace it. Fridge died just over a year and they wouldn't do anything with it. Then the rodent problem during the 2nd winter. They were all thru the walls and would chew 3" holes in thru the back of the kitchen cabinets and then another 3" whole thru the side of the cabinets into the kitchen. Opened the on cabinet to find it full of insulation bits. The mice accessed all the wiring and ate thru that then loosing power in the kitchen area. They got into the theatre chairs rendering them non operative. They were everywhere and avoided any traps. I went underneath the trailer and found numerous places the rodents had access to the inside of the trailer. One hole inside I could see daylight thru it and bare main wiring. Which is what you have to do - avoid Crossroads Hampton trailers completely or do what I did and walked away from it.

Buying a Forest River product was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. We've had constant issues—starting with the slide-out, which has never worked right, trim falling apart, water leaks, and more. Reaching out to Forest River is useless—they don’t return calls, emails, or show any concern for their customers. When we took our unit in the first time, the tech told us the slide-out hole was cut wrong from the factory. Not long after, that guy was mysteriously gone—seems like he was let go for telling us the truth. Dealers are clearly forced to downplay the problems and claim it’s just an 'adjustment'—but it's a manufacturing defect, plain and simple. Total disappointment.

This volt1200 is an amazing travel trailer. It is a small rv . However it doesn’t need to be plugged in for incredibly long stretches if at all! . Everything in the camper runs off the lithium battery including the ac and microwave! It’s recharged by three massive 365 watt solar panels. The heater is a Truma combi that works quiet and efficient on propane which the unit has duel propane tanks. The camper has a heated and enclosed underbelly and large capacity water tanks.. 36 fresh 30 grey 30 black. My wife and I just went on a trip for 2 weeks in it and found it to be a great unit. The battery was either fully charged or mostly charged every day while just driving down the road. Not much is out there for these and I think it’s unfortunate because we have had great experiences so far.
