Dunlap RV was started in 1994 by Brad and Renee Soldwedel. It was the passion for family camping that formally consummated the opening of Dunlap RV Centers. Dunlap RV started selling campers out of an old gas station in the center of town, in Dunlap, Tennessee. Over the past twenty years, Dunlap RV has grown into five stores in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. Brad and Renee have now been joined by their children, who are an integral part of the day to day operations of the business. Dunlap has positioned themselves as a Jayco Gold Circle of Excellence dealer, at all locations, with 100% customer satisfaction. Brad's philosophy of treating the customer first, and the company second, still remains the cornerstone of Dunlap RV Centers.
In January of 2018, Dunlap RV Center joined the Family RV Group network of dealers that includes the Colerain Family RV and Northside Family RV stores located in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Now nine stores strong, Family RV Group, can service our customers over multiple states. It also give the group great purchasing power. It's simple, our volume buying gives you the lowest prices.

Everyone was super super friendly and helpful! Employees came in on their off day to meet with us one on one so the same person we talked with on the phone could meet us face to face. Everyone was super super friendly and helpful! Employees came in on their off day to meet with us one on one so the same person we talked with on the phone could meet us face to face. Was not pushy at all and gave us time to look over choices and went over in detail how to operate RV before we left. Finance was super easy to work with and didn't take all day to get done. Very quick and easy going! Huge shout-out to Emily, Amanda , Anthony and JT!!! You guys rock. Keep up the great service and see you again in the future for more needs!

I bought my motorhome during Covid. I did not need it to use right away so the wait was OK.I had an inspection done after it came to dealership and there were a few minor things that needed done. Dunlap was annoyed I had an inspection done. I did not want to sign papers till this was done as I did not wasn’t to rent the space. They again were annoyed with me so I decided to take it home and wait for the parts. The parts took along time but I finally was able to go and have work done.,except I also had blue ox installed to tow my hybrid car. Every time I tried to tow my car battery would go dead. Before I could tow I needed to find a cure for this dead battery. I finally found some one. Dunlap would not work with me on a time to come in as I am A ICU nurse working Covid units and my premier at work was needed. I had responsibilities in NY so I just had to leave plus I sold my house and had to go. So I was coming back through KYso I made an appointment in September for October 25th. I went for my appointment and left it for the day. When I returned around 3:30 I was told they did not even looked at it and basically was told to go else where. All these issues I had were from the very beginning. I am very upset with this and I am hoping others read this to prevent this happening to them. I feel for some reason I am being discrinated for whatever reason. I am a 68 yo retired nurse and I travel with my dogs. After I was told they would not help I go to hook up my car to RV AND IT STARTED pouring a cold rain. Not one person offered to help me.
