I purchased some parts on amazon from Dune Sports that i had not had time to install for a month. It turned out that some of the parts where not correct per the manufacture, I call Dune Sport to see if they would work with me on a return and since I was 30 days later in getting back to them and had thrown the packaging away. to my surprise they where willing to take them back with a fair restocking fee. My initial review of Dune Sport recommended you keep shopping and find a different dealer. This was based primarily on the owner’s response to me during the acceptance testing at my house after delivery. The problems I was having clearly showed there had not been adequate testing or checkout before they delivered it to me. My recent warranty claim was for two items, the water tank heater pad had fallen off during travel, and the front fiberglass cap started separating from the top of the trailer. This is the single piece that wraps up the front, from the bottom up to the top where it is forced to the curve of the trailer. It appeared to have been nailed with finish nails. It was separating enough that water was able to flow into the trailer under the raised edge. I fixed both of these issues after discussion with Dine Sport, and submitted a bill for just under $300. They sent me a check for $400, and asked if the extra $100 would be enough to entice me to update my previous review. Dune Sport did address my warranty issue in a timely manner. However, neither of these items would have happened with a quality-built trailer. Tank heater pads don’t just “fall off” occasionally. The method used to secure the fiberglass cap at the top front was pathetic – very indicative of their build quality. This last experience showed how unethical they are, to offer me $100 to revise a negative review, instead of addressing the issues that prompted the negative review in the first place.
