We found the RV we wanted online and drove out to Colaw RV in Carthage, MO, about an hour or so from our house. It was well worth the trip. Lance helped us look at the RV and Hailey helped us in finance. We were in and out of there in 40 minutes, and chose to have a stabilizer hitch installed so we picked up our camper a little over a week later due to our work schedules. Bobby showed us how everything works on the RV and took all the time needed to answer our questions, and invited us to call him if we had any issues or questions later on. Dan helped us in parts and guided us on some basic suggestions for things that we needed with no pressure. Everyone was so nice and just extremely helpful. We would recommend Colaw to anyone. STAY AWAY!!! The owener is impossible to deal with. We wanted to buy a trailer advertised nationally for sale. We confirmed it was still available and went to buy it with cash in hand. The trailer could not be moved in its current condition. The landing gear would not go up, the tires dry rotted and cracked, brakes wouldn't engage, no functioning brake lights. This trailer was not street legal. We asked if they could sell us tires and take a look at the lights so we can tow it away. The owner stated "its as is, I don't have to do anything, this is why I'll only sell it local". We were willing to pay full asking price and purchase 4 tires from them and he refused to sell to us. Ive never encountered anything like that before and I hope I never do again. Show less
