After attempting to overcharge me for a weight distribution system, then pressuring me into buying it because they want to "make sure I'm safe", I've come to realize that it can actually void the warranty and do damage to my tow vehicle, they are now telling me that they cannot take it back, nor are they attempting to make it right by getting me a proper hitch. I initially had a fairly decent experience with the Chesaco Motors in Joppa, MD. when i purchased my new 2022 RV. However, after I arrived home, about two hours away, I discovered a problem with my plumbing system. My pipes were not fully connected and caused a major leak. I contacted the dealership for service and was told i would have to make the two hour trip again to have them look at the camper. As this trip is costly and timely, i asked that they provide some credit, reimbursement, travel discount or something to offset the major inconvenience as I have only had the new RV for 2 months. The pipes should have been properly and fully inspected before the sell. Nonetheless, I spoke with my original sales manager "Richard" who was very sympathetic and professional as we discussed the problem may be a simple seal and wondered if it could be shipped for my direct installation. This would save me travel cost and less inconvenience. He then transferred me to a Service Advisor "Denise" who was totally unprofessional. This person told me there would be no option provided to me besides making a two hour trip with the entire camper in order to receive assistance. She advised no reimbursement, credit or any sort of accommodation would be considered. When i expressed my disappointment and frustration, she rudely hung the phone up in my face. This person "Denise" should not work with people, has no customer care experience, is absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. I would never want to do business with her as a service provider. I left a message for the GM to call me about me customer service experience and sadly never received a call back. Show less

I wouldn't buy a camper from them again they will make you promises and not pull through and charge you for services and not do them completely. They also won't answer the phone or call you back. Calling corporate does nuthing also they just send you back to the dealer who wouldn't help you in the first place. Show less

They’ve had my new Jayco fifthwheel for 4 weeks now and told me it will be another 3 weeks. I bought this trailer 11-30-20 and have never used it. Needs cable bracket repaired on kitchen slide and a small hole in sidewall fiberglass repaired. They keep telling me they have a shortage of mechanics. They also require a deposit of 159.00 that you’ll probably never get back for diagnosis of the warranty work. Do yourself a big big favor....DO NOT purchase anything from them or you will regret it. When and if I ever get this trailer back from Chesaco Rv I’m selling it and moving on. Good luck if you purchase you’ll need it! Show less

This dealership is horrible. I bought a new unit from Chesaco in Joppa and had a ton of issues with it. Brought it back for warranty service and they dragged their feet with repairs, only fixed one issue, and charged me for “evaluating” issues that I reported and they claimed were not issues and not covered. They’re a total scam and they’re practices are unethical. Avoid this place!! Show less
