We purchased a new Mallard Pathfinder during July 2022 from Camping World in Grand Rapids Michigan. It started falling apart on our 90 minute drive home via interstate. When we got there the furnace had fallen out of the wall where it was mounted and was hanging by the gas line. The empty shelving over the bed was falling off the wall. The shower floor was cracked. We paid $80 for the Camping World mobile tech to come to our location to fix them rather than having to take it back to Grand Rapids to be fixed because we were told we would have to bring it back twice, one for diagnostics and one for repair. Before the tech came we discovered that the microwave was broken and the smoke alarm would go off when it rained. When the tech arrived he repaired the shelf and fastened the furnace as best he could. He then told us that the furnace didn’t fit properly and was never mounted to the floor. He also said the grill wasn’t big enough to attach properly and that we needed the correct size grill. He wrote all of that in his notes to Camping World. He told us they had to order the shower pieces and that we would have to take it in for the shower to be repaired. Then a couple of weeks later the toilet started leaking. The tech came back out and repaired the toilet. Camping World called a month or more later and told us the parts were in. We took the camper in. They replaced the microwave and smoke alarm. The shower they ordered didn’t fit. They ordered a new shower again. A couple of months later they called and said the shower was in. We took the camper in for repairs and just before close they called and had accidentally drilled through the exterior wall of the camper while installing the shower. They said they would keep it another week and fix the hole in their collision department. A few days after the call we received another call from them saying they had broke the shower surround while fixing the hole they accidentally drilled in the outside wall and here we sit waiting for another shower surround to be ordered, delivered, and installed. We are also still waiting for Camping World to fix the furnace properly. It has been over eight months since our purchase of the camper. The most disturbing part is that they keep telling us it’s just a trailer. We shouldn’t expect it to last. We bought it new, it’s been just over eight months since our purchase, and haven’t been able to use it for the majority of that time.
