Now we can't get them to talk or return calls. Now I wish I would not have purchased anything from them. I would have gladly paid more some place else if it meant getting rear service when you need it.

I will never use Camping World in Oakwood again. Our camper was there for 4 months and I was told they couldnt get parts. I finally decided to give up and pick it up to us it and was given an invoice that included the parts they couldnt get. As we were driving out there was a crack in our windshield that was not there when we dropped it off. They take pictures when you drop it off so it celarly shows there was no crack. Jimmy the Service manager said it didnt happen there and even if it did we signed a waiver that they are not responsible for any damage that happens while our camper is on their lot. The corporate rep satnads by that so I will never use them and I encourage all to stay away from Camping world Oakwood.

Went in with the idea of purchasing a slightly used trailer for my wife. Told the sales person that I was new to camper trailers and asked them to take care of me as I was depending on their expertise and knowledge. At my expense, they replaced the BAL slide out cables only to install them incorrectly and later, at a remote campsite, it ended up pulling the pulley bracket out of of the wall when it bound up. Can't pull when raining as the front right corner was taped up and it fills the front storage area and part of the master bedroom with water. Also, two tires have slow leaks that caught me flat footed as well. Very disappointed.

My purchase was back in December 2020 when I traded my travel trailer in for a fifth wheel. If honesty, integrity, and transparency are qualities you seek from a RV dealer then don’t mess with these guys. They value profit over people, from the GM all the way down to the finance and sales department. Don’t be fooled by their charming personality, it’s just a facade. They are professional con artist that are trained to prey on peoples emotion. Any verbal promises they make if you do consider or decide to move forward with a purchase, be sure to “make” them putting in writing and sign it because they will do the same to you.. If you’re doubtful walk away and don’t turn back, but if you’re still on the fence, ask your sales person if they allow a “cool down” period, if the answer is yes... again, get it in writing before signing any documents. Please review your contract thoroughly before purchasing because these guys profit big time on over inflated charges and warranties. Classic bait and switch... Don’t become their next victim. Heed my warning!!! K. Gholston Newnan, GA.

My wife and I purchased a new 2019 Thor Hurricane M29 from Camping Worlds Oakwood GA dealership on July 3rd 2020. We picked it up the 4th after the techs were to have gone over it to ensure it was ready to go and to take care of a small punch list. When we picked it up the only thing on the list that was done was the house batteries. I received excuses for failing to fix the rest, but we took possession since they were minor fixes. On the way home we experienced brake failure due to critically low brake fluid level. I was told it was “an oversight” and to add fluid. I did and now 2 weeks later we are in Connecticut and the levels were low again. I took it to a truck repair shop and there is a leak in the rear line. This is a warranty item and the shop was not equipped to repair an RV. I called Thor for guidance and was told to call the dealer, I called David our sales rep and he could not provide guidance other than to call the service manager. I called the service department and was told they don’t have any way of helping out of state. In between I called Good Sam to see if they could help under the service plan. They refused because it is a warranty item. We then called corporate and was told we need to get it 75 miles to a repair facility who can do the warranty work but it is unsafe to drive with faulty brakes. This is a serious problem for us as we are 1300 miles from home with a new RV that has a defect that should have been found before delivery to me as the brake tank had less than 8 oz of fluid so the breaks failed on a decline. We notified the dealer via email. We never heard so much as I am sorry from the dealership on the issue and now the situation is worse. In short the dealership made all sorts of promises about being there and welcome to the RV family etc…, took their money for the sale of a faulty unit and we are now left to pick up the mess. In my opinion, based on experience, these people are extremely dishonest, dangerous to the safety of their customers and doing business with them has resulted in unnecessary anxiety, frustration and extra expense. They can not be trusted to live up to their word or obligations. At this point we are simply going to have to locate someone locally who can repair the brakes at our own expense as no one in the Camping World “family” has stepped up to help resolve this. The particularly aggravating part is this should have been found before delivery by the dealership as the brake fluid level was visibly near empty.
