I had my Class A Diesel Pusher 2008 Fleetwood Providence in for an electrical problem I was met by Melissa who wrote up my problem Travis & Ervin found the problem and had to replace the Inverter, Transfer switch and Surge Protector and 4 new Batteries I also was kept up to date on what was going on by Kelly and Fred. In the end it was a 5K repair they took the time to explain how the new system works and what was found and showed me the old parts!! I wish we could give this Camping World location more than 5 stars! They completed repairs on our new camper that we purchased from another dealer. Repairs that the other dealer could not do. Melissa in the service department was incredible! She navigated all the approvals we needed from the manufacturer and ensured that the repairs were completed correctly and quickly. I’m not sure it could have been done without her help. She always answered our calls and consistently called us and kept us informed about the status of the repairs. Camping World is so lucky to have someone like her working there! She made us feel at ease, unlike the dealership we purchased it from when we needed repairs done and they could not complete them. We were advised by friends who had work done there to call the Camping World location in Houghton Lake and have them help us, and that they did. You will not go wrong if you have repairs done there. Our RV is completely fixed and everything is working well. Some of the repairs were complicated, but the service department handled them like the professionals they are. I am so glad we went there. We just bought our 1st rv!! We are so excited!! Melissa listened to our wants and helped us find the perfect camper for our family! She is so sweet! She even remembered my grandparents who had bought a Class C from her a few years before. Adam is a rockstar about explaining everything about our rv and how it works! He is fun and broke it down so we wouldn't get too overwhelmed. He is super knowledgeable and a rockstar at his job!! Dustin did a great job helping us with our financing options and not being pushy about the warranty. Vicky walked me through the store and helped me pick out everything we would need because we were going to be using the camper the next night! The receptionist, Sue is a gem! I lost my sunglasses while we were there and she wrote down my info and helped look for them. We honestly had a fabulous experience with Camping World Houghton Lake! And when I called Melissa to tell her the vent for our stove fan had somehow fallen off during our trip, she made sure 1 was sent to us so we could get it fixed! I would HIGHLY recommend these amazing folks to a friend! Show less

I just took delivery on a 2022 Fuel 36' toy hauler from salesman Rosario Tyson. I have purchased 4 RV's in my adult life and I have to say Rosario made this the easiest purchase I ever made. He made sure I had a complete walk thru which I might add was almost 1 hour long. I also got a walk thru on the new style hitch he recommended. I was able to complete almost everything over the phone and his email replies were almost immediate. After owning 4 RV's I knew exactly what I wanted but did not know what I would go thru when I got there. The salesman intorduced me to 2 techs, one for the walk thru and the other for the hookup and new style equalizer hitch without the old fashion chains. They even set up my brand new 2021 Ford Heavy half which has all kinds of new fancy towing accessories on it which I knew nothing about. It was raining and they still made sure I was taken care of before leaving Camping World. I also got a free Good Sams membership and a gift card from Rosario. I might add the names of the two techs who walked me thru as I was very pleased. The walk thru was done by Dan Walk and he knew that RV inside and out. Ed took care of the hitch walk thru and truck setup. Katie Jenereaux handled the payment fast and had all my paper work ready when I was done with the walk thru I can only say I give this store 5 stars from everyone that worked with me. It was explained to me that I could have warrantee work or any work done at any Camping World in the country which was comforting. I strongly recommend giving Camping World a shot at your next RV and if you live in Michigan I would definitely use Houghton Lake again. Show less

Horrible experience! Drove all day to make a next day appointment only to find our already paid for parts had been resold to someone else and our appointment was cancelled. Bradley in parts and manager, Adam, very rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. Stay away. Show less

Travis Lieu installed a new screen in the window and put in the new fireplace. Then he checked to see why the awning would not go out anymore. He was efficient and let us know what he was doing at all times. He knew what he was doing!Cassy was very helpful and kept us in the loop while she was setting up the apartments and getting new parts and dealing with the warrante department for us. Show less
