Went in during their Saturday May 20th "open house." I was up front with what I wanted to see. Two words describe my experience: short shrift. He sent me out to the parking lot to walk the 100 or so yards in 90 degree temps to view used class A and Cs. After I came back I asked him a couple of questions which he was loath to answer and said "I gotta go - I have a customer." And HE was the one I was assigned to. He didn't spend 5 minutes total with me. This site requires the reviewer to enter reviews for all dealer functions. I only had experience with sales. If sales was this poor I can only imagine what their other services are like. Camping World: A dealer to remember.

I sent this video to the Camping World rep (WR) and his response is shown in the images Needles to say, I will NEVER CONSIDER this place nor recommended Camping World Ocala to ANYONE! Do your research and you'll see their true colors. https://youtu.be/6wrsMU7WMuQ

don’t typically give bad reviews because as a business owner myself, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this place was so awful I feel guilty NOT giving them a negative review in case other people consider doing business with them. We took our travel trailer to them to check out some potential electric issues. They charged us $288 to tell us that everything checked out fine and we “may just have a bad cord.” After waiting for 2 HOURS for someone to bring our camper around to us, they finally come in and explain the forklift driver ran it into another camper. Ok… accidents happen. Everyone was very apologetic and agreed to fix the scratches and replace the bent jack for free. During this waiting time my husband connects with the sales rep, Moe, who tells him they will give us $11,500 for our camper outright if we’d like to sell it to them. My husband and I debated this over 2 days while they fixed the camper and when we called him back to say move forward he simply said “we’re not interested anymore.” No other explanation. Ok…. so it gets worse. We go back to get the camper and while waiting for another hour my 7 year old son falls between a boat on display and the deck leading up to it in a gap far too wide for safety. Several staff members expressed great concern. Aside from a nasty scratch up his thigh, he was thankfully not severely injured. We made sure everyone knew they needed to fix the gap. They all agreed but during the rest of our time being there no one did… as several other kids walked around the store. They finally pulled our camper around after my husband expressed his frustrations with the general store manager, Carl. We finally had our camper, fixed and ready to hook up when we heard a hissing sound and smelled propane… the propane tanks were leaking!! When we went in to tell Carl they broke yet another thing he came out and proceeded to tell us the portion of the tanks leaking are “old and we should be thankful that he’s not going to charge us to fix it since the labor is $125/hr and the part is a $125 part.” 😵😵😵 Then to put the icing on the cake when my husband says the part wasn’t broken when we dropped it off with them, the manager says to him “Well, if we went to court, we know who would win.” We have remained calm, cordial and understanding through the entire interactions with Camping World. Never once threatening any sort of legal actions. Never in my life have I had a customer service representative threaten me with potential legal consequences especially without it even being a topic of conversation!! The senior sales consultant, Gabe Valenzuela, kindly assured us the general manager would make sure we would never have a bad experience at Camping World again. Considering he sealed the deal that we would never return again, I guess he was right.

Great experiance with the salesman. He went out of his way to assist with any questions I had. He even help from his home on his off day, so I was happy about that. As we know all salesmen have their tactics to sell and im ok with that their in it to make a profit and im all about that, but my salesmen kept it real smooth and pleasurable so I give Camping World high marks for that. But some issues are missing things like battery cover, Wiring for solar was horrid (dont know if its a dealer issue or manufacturing)

CW Summerfield (where I bought it) will take in your camper for warranty repair. That's all they did. 4 months later it took a call to cops to get my camper back. No repairs done during the campers 4mth hiatus at CW Summerfield. Took camper to CW NC and it was ridiculous. No warranty repairs made by CW anywhere we attempted. This is a true story.

I would leave this dealer alone. The Forest River Coach they advertised has not been available even though I was told that the coach was un-repairable at least one month ago. The ad has never been removed. I purchased another coach Saturday October 5th and the ad for the coach was removed beforw I finished the three hour drive home. I would never buy from these guys simply because of the trust issues. I talked to many people and filed a complaint and today October 7th the ad is still there. If you deal with these guys, BEWARE !!!!! K Morton
