I have heard stories about Camping World, but thought it would be different with me buying a new Class A diesel. The service staff at Camping World Concord NC and Myrtle Beach SC do appear to have any knowledge to work on RVs. I took my RV to Camping World Concord NC where I purchased it for warranty work and not one item was repaired. I took it to Myrtle Beach Camping World and I got it back with the same problems plus more. It sucks I cannot get competent work from Camping World and other dealers will not look at it. I scheduled the work to be completed at Brown's RV in McBee SC. They scheduled me 40 days out as they were busy. On the day of my appointment, they turned me around at the door stating they have a new policy and are not servicing RVs that weren't purchased through them. I tried to argue that I should be exempted since I already had an appointment be told the guy who scheduled the appointment should not have scheduled it and is no longer working there. They can schedule me to bring it back after 2023 when they start back honoring g other RVs. Really?

We were so excited with our purchase of a Jayco, but since day one we have had nothing but problems. Have made numerous trips which is 190 miles round trip. One thing after another and today was just another disappointing service experience. We think the refrigerator parts were replaced, but nobody confirmed it was fixed. Also waited for microwave parts and never received a call, but they "just happened to have come in" when we got there. Already had the floor replaced and now we were told today we are on a recall list for the stove. It never ends. This is just a small sample of the problems we've encountered. Feel Camping World should and could do better considering the cost of this RV.

Our 1st visit we put $500 down to hold a Camper but by the time we spoke with sales manager, then finance guy we purchased a Travel Trailer that was on sale for one price but by the time you got the out the door price $2600 worth of extras were added?? Fortunately we never completed the sale and purchased elsewhere for $2755 less. 2nd visit was for warranty service on the Geo were purchased "elsewhere". Waited 3 weeks for appointment?? It was a 5min fix on a circuit breaker. 3rd visit was for selling my Geo (considered something bigger) and the consignment price was just robbery. Over 30% less than I paid.(and I only paid $20k out the door including $600 hitch and tax) 4th (attempted visit) for non-working toilet flush appointment never could actually contact the service dept. Numerous attempts, voice messages, verbal messages to operator....fixed it myself for $12 part off Amazon. I understand the demand for Campers is the best its been in 30 years. Sales and service are in very high demand. But charging $1000s for add on items, service dept that can't return calls. C'mon folks. Better wise up now because in 2-4 years there will be such a huge inventory of used trailers that everyone is trying to sell after this current surge of sales you will need all the customers you can get.On a positive note all service people and most sales staff that I dealt with face to face were helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly.

My wife was treated poorly and the overall interaction left me feeling that this is an extremely dishonest dealership. Bait and Switch is their method of customer service. I would be very careful dealing with these people. They are not honest.

Look out at myrtle beach camping world. The sales keep dropping the price like nothing. High volume sales with no support afterward. Got my camper September 10. I found out it leaked bad first rain .took over 2 weeks to get it in service. November 9th. The leaking window and gutter drains took over 55 days to get parts and install them. Almost 2 months in their possession, my brand new 2021 Forest River Salem 171. My wife and I bought new for the first time so we wouldn't have any problems. We missed 2 trips so far. These people barely return calls and updates were harder to get. I got the factory involved Forest River said they would expedite my claims and window. What liars they were too. Here it took till December 5th to complete. I lost 3 months registration, insurance, warranty, good sam club plus 2 trips. They said they felt bad, sorry.
