Finally was able to take my Heartland Fifth Wheel Bighorn in for warranty service. Several items that we wanted to fix before warranty runs out. Since contact with Heartland customer service, we figured it would be best to take it to the selling dealer. Wrong, after discussing the warranty issues with service, I failed to read the fine print.... Complaints not covered by warranty would be charged a diagnostic fee. Not sure they understand what warranty means. Heartland has designed faulty slide seals that let light and water leak into the trailer since the claim was denied. There are a few more items rejected and of course charges. I would thing long and hard before I buy anything from Camping World.

I bought a Zinger pull behind , Brought it home and put water in the freshwater tank . It leaked out because of a factory screw poking the tank. I bought a Zinger pull behind , Brought it home and put water in the freshwater tank . It leaked out because of a factory screw poking the tank. They epoxied the tank and my wife and I camped for one night We brought it back so we could take it for repairs.( new tank came in ) two weeks later I picked it up and brought it home. Was a week or two I was going to surprise my wife with a 39th wedding anniversary camping trip. It was the first trip after the repairs I filled the fresh water tank and the gray tank light showed full and the water tank showed empty . Also the quick dump on the fresh water tank was installed wrong and was facing inward between the axles and I ,at 70 years old had to craw under the camper to dump the fresh water . What the hell was the repairman thinking or giving a dam about. Now its has been a month of ordering parts ,another tank ,and in the shop for repairs and parts to fix his screw up. Nothing is getting done on my new ,one time used Rv. Its just sitting in their back lot waiting for more parts ,so they say. I call often, once a week for updates just to be put on hold or never called back. I have Emailed Mr. Marcus Lemonus about his LEMON TO US and we will see if Camping World is worth trusting after the sale. I will say we love the design of the Zinger and wish to have it back repaired . Brought brand new RV to Camping World in Katy, TX for a few warranty issues/repairs. Took them "10 months" to make repairs. Went to pick up RV from them and 2 items were not even fixed. They broke "5" additional items and did not tell us, we had to point them out. RV filthy inside and out. Obvious signs of toilet usage in both toilets. Very poor customer service. Never again.

Camping World should be ashamed of themselves selling Heartland products. I just purchased a brand new RV and three weeks later it’s in service for tons of issues. The slide outs leak, the closet is made of poor materials it’s falling apart, the dresser is coming apart, the footboard at the bottom of bed is peeling, I can go on and on. My RV is currently in service I dropped it off and they can’t even start on it for two weeks. I should have done my homework on this, trying to trust the salesperson was my mistake don’t listen to them they are to sell you an RV not tell you how poorly they are made, so please don’t purchase a Heartland product from Camping World or you will be very disappointed. Not sure if the repairs are worth it.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CAMPING WORLD. This dealer only cares about getting the customer to sign the contract, once the contract is signed, that’s the only good service you get from them. They will promise you the moon and back, nothing but false promises. Service department cannot do anything right, I don’t know how many times I took in my brand new 5th wheel I bought from them. Had to bring it back multiple times for the same issues!!! GO TO ANY OTHER DEALER, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!
