When a sales rep. called me back it was at and insane hour like two am. I am glad they have scaled back to calling during business hours, for sales calls, as that was insanely aggressive feeling for a sales call back.
On another late night hunt for a unicorn!!! I found a couple but just by reading the reviews on RV Insider. I am more inclined to steer clear of the rv's I was interested in based on floorplan and options.
I did start a build however, I had a few questions so I opened a chat window. Again the nosy questions lol
I understand that you all want to give priority to the "serious" buyers. IDK if you are using and AI (robot) to respond but as a potential customer, asking whether I plan on financing or paying cash during a chat session, is heading in the direction of ; TANKING my family as potential future customers.
Even worse on a callback for sales. The only time I should hear a rep. asking me for that kind of inquiry if at all, would be near the end of the call once and once only.
Before that inquiry, they should be asking when I am planning to buy. Which model or models and what options would I be interested in.
Some areas were improved on the last call, some still could use a bit of tweaking.
I will point out that sending me the financial info. via email was nice and you might be trying to be helpful to your potential customers. Maybe, you should be more concerned with the sale of any Rv., Well before you offer any financial information, even via email. What my finances are, are frankly none of your beeswax nor whether I wish to finance or not.
Speaking for myself, as a customer if I wanted that information I would have asked you for it. Just a suggestion and not meant to be offensive. The way your website and chat system is currently working, it makes you come off as desperate for a sale.
I did receive the email and said thank you regarding, Brandon contacting me to answer my questions. Three days ago and I have yet to actually get a call back on that score. Please don't trouble yourself at this point as I have already decided I will not be going with that rv I was inquiring about. ( Sorry Brandon)
I want to add by saying that since we are otherwise strangers, when you are making a call back to a potential customer. You have zero ,zip, nada idea about where my thought processes are and where I am at as far a searching for the right fitting Rv. I have mentioned most of this before. I might be in the beginning ,middle or end of the researching a potential Rv. for my family's use or enjoyment.
Fishing for the financial buying options of a potentially new customers in order to weed out buyers from lookers. This maybe one sales tactic, you really should consider chucking in the bin, it's doing your business and customers more harm than good.
I understand that your time is valuable, so is mine as a Mother of four children and having three step children some, of which are adults. I hope your sales reps and website improve while I am still on the hunt for that Unicorn.
For the Love of God, please tell me that you don't treat your existing customers so shamefully.
