WARNING: BE INFORMED ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH ADVENTURE RV or any of their sister companies. There should be a option for a negative as opposed to even one star. It pains me to ever complain about a company as I generally believe most companies try to do the right thing. NOT ADVENTURE RV. There is NOTHING good about this company except that some of their staff try to do the right thing. However it is obvious that ownership and management only care about the bottom line and nothing about customer satisfaction. We purchased a 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2500RL camper trailer in July of 2021, with the plan to stay in it in Arizona for that winter. As part of the package Adventure RV installed a solar system that they assured us was capable of running “everything except the air conditioner”. This was important as my husband uses a B-Pap machine to sleep. We paid $47,377 total. The electrical system failed the second night and has never worked properly, due to the solar system being improperly installed. Over a period of time there were many initial steps working with repair services and Adventure RV to resolve the electrical issues caused by Adventure RV’s improperly installing the solar system. We live in Montana and were traveling to Arizona., but made arrangements to get the Grand Design camper back to Adventure RV in Cheyenne. When they assured me it was working we made arrangements to travel back to Cheyenne Wyoming to pick it up. While they were showing us how it was working, the system again failed and they could not get it resolved while we were there. We left the Grand Design at Adventure RV in Cheyenne and it has been in their possession for most of the 16 months since this whole drama started. The bottom line is, and Adventure RV agreed, the Solar System was improperly installed by Adventure RV causing other electrical issues with the Grand Design camper trailer. This compromised the entire electrical system and is a safety concern. Adventure RV did not deliver a working product and were not able to get it working properly in a timely manner even though they have had our money since July of 2021. Since the Grand Design Imagine camper was never in our possession long enough to transfer the title, the camper is not titled to us. They said we “had” to transfer the title to us which we refused to do. We have demanded a full refund and they have stonewalled us for over a year. They offered to pay us the “wholesale” value or over $20,000 less than we paid. We later found out that the company had sold just before we purchased the Grand Design Camper, as the new manager tried to make us to get the refund from the previous owner. Adventure RV does not belong to the BBB and they make it difficult to file a complaint with the BBB as they hide behind a corporate name and are not listed as Adventure RV. I understand that it is not a perfect world and that things happen and when you buy something it may have some warranty issues. This situation was caused by their inability to install the solar system correctly, that they were not able to fix it after several attempts and not take responsibility. We refuse to take possession of something that does not work. Because of concerns of the safety of the Grand Design’s electrical system cannot sell it to someone else in good faith. We have been more than patient in asking for this to be resolved. Based on our experience of repeatedly not resolving the electrical issue we do not trust Adventure RV’s ability, we want a full refund. BEWARE of doing any business with Adventure RV in Cheyenne Wyoming.

It brings me no pleasure to leave a one star review, especially for a local company. I will start by saying sales did a great job and worked their butt off jumping through hoops to get a camp trailer financed for me. Sales is where the service stopped at this dealership. We started out with missing the delivery time by over 24 hours. They had to "rush" prepping so that it could be delivered before my vacation time was over which they missed. While I was frustrated about the missed deadline I let it slide because I was the one trying to do something last minute. Once I got the camper home I found the interior full of saw dust, there was an outlet dangling by the wires and they forgot to include a starter box that was supposed to be included. I was able to get the starter box the next day but was told it would be 5+ weeks for them to look at the other problems. I opted to repair them myself rather than wait. Nearly 2 months later we are approaching on Memorial Day weekend. I have a vacation planned but my temporary permit will expire while I'm on my trip. 2 weeks before my scheduled trip I called Adventure RV to see if they have submitted the sales tax and title so that I can register it before I'm scheduled to head out. No answer from the Office managertitle clerk so I left a message. I called several more times over the next 2 weeks, leaving messages and never getting a call back. I end up having to cancel my trip and pay cancelation fees for the campgrounds I had reservations with. After several more unreturned phone calls I visit in person. I went in and requested to speak with Joey Delgado, the general manager, after explaining that I've called and been ignored by the office manager for 3 weeks at this point. In his all infinite wisdom, he sent the office manager to talk with me. After she had no answers and I'm sure was very frustrated, he decided to come deal with me like I requested originally. After some back and forth I very much got the impression that he was not there to help but rather make excuses and play the blame game. It was everyone else's fault that the title wasn't processed by them. He even blamed me for calling the title person and leaving multiple messages when I should have asked for other departments like sales or finance.... when the issue was with titles. Joey's "fix" is to make sure the title gets processed... days after the temporary permit expired, well after any chances of a vacation can be had by me. Better late than never felt like his attitude, and I should be grateful that they are doing that much for me. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Find a reputable dealer in Colorado and stay far away from Mis-Adventure RV!
