I would never ever purchase another RV from this dealership. I found the service manager to continuously rip me off for "upgrades" and I found the sales staff to be less than honest.
I purchased my SS 1500 Backpack Edition in Jan. 2016. Driving 8 hours from Lake Tahoe area, and realizing that I lost an hour due to the time change, I was running late on my first day.
After paying cash with a check for my camper, the finance woman required of me to sign the manufacture's release form BEFORE I ever saw my camper. Despite the manufacturer's warning not to do this, she did a great job of "closing" me into signing it before I saw my camper.
I am convinced that my camper had been a floor model that everyone "inspects" and that it was not a brand new model in that sense.
The sales staff was less than honest in disclosing that there was no "gray water tank" on the model despite numerous references in the brochures and owner's manual that there was one. I have since purchased a portable exterior gray water tank for dry camping because the shower will not discharge to a tank without it. There was plenty of room under the shower for said tank, but it was not there.
Make sure that your truck's electrical hook up matches the Forest River Palomino electrical hook up before hand. My salesman told me that mine was fine, having come from a previous mistake of purchasing a Four Wheel Grandby, but this was not the case.
My main complaints about Access RV are the following:
Pressure to sign an inspection release by the finance woman.
Less than accurate statements about electrical system hook up resulting in added fees.
A bogus "dealer" service charge over the stated "full sales price".
Taken advantage of after an 8 hour drive from Tahoe.
My salesman disappeared after my check was cashed.
No followup after the sale. You are on your own if you do not live nearby.
Finally, if you do me wrong I will write about it. If you do me right I will write about it and give wonderful reviews. Once burnt I am bitter.
My suggestion, buy somewhere else. The further east you go the less the camper will cost.
I do not trust Access RV and I suggest you go elsewhere.
