My wife and I visited numerous dealerships over the late summer and early fall. Finally found Lerch RV in central PA. Wow, this dealership is hands down more welcoming and family oriented than any other dealership we visited. Best of all, it's not a corporate dealership; it is still family owned and operated. We recently upgraded from a small tag-along camper to a larger one to accommodate the fam. You get to look at their inventory, which is vast, clean, and well taken care of, at your leisure. You do not have a salesperson breathing down your neck or trying to steer you toward campers you do not want to look at. The staff has been friendly and accommodating and threw-in great goodies with our new camper. So if you are in PA and looking for a new camper, do not pass up Lerch RV. They even are storing our trailer for free until camping season starts in our home state.

First off, I DO NOT usually leave reviews, especially negative reviews for companies, because I know how hard owning a business is, but this warrants it. If I could leave this company 0 starts I would. They were great to work with initially, but they take advantage, sell you garbage and lied to me about the length of the loan. A 7 year loan is actually 12. Yes I signed the paperwork, but I did the math wrong in my head based on what they told me. Technically my error, but ethically and morally their fault. I would have never in a million years bough the junk they sold me, had I known it wouldn't even last a year without major problems, nor would I have EVER agreed to a 12 year loan. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of a first time RV buyer, and to trick someone into a loan that will far outlive the crap they sold me. Just in case you're thinking of buying a KZSportsmen, DONT DO IT! They are junk, literal pieces of junk...

First off, this dealership will treat you like family. They have some of the best prices in the state, if not in the Mid-Atlantic area. My family has purchased two new RVs from this dealership over the last five years. I will point out that their service dept is a bit behind, but they have 32 service bays, the largest in the area. With the historic RV sales recently, it's no wonder they are behind. The sales dept is exceptional and easy to deal/work with. No sales pressure; you can view their inventory on your own without a sales person babysitting you—a huge positive with our shopping experience. If you are in the market for a new RV, do not pass up a chance to do business with Lerch RV.

SHAMEFUL. That's the only word that comes to mind here. Very simply put. The unit itself was in complete disarray and in shambles-every surface was gauged or damaged, etc. To give a bit of background...our family traveled over 4 hours to purchase this RV. The deal was done. We have a seasonal site and after searching near & far, this particular model suited our family's needs. Now, let me not be remiss to mention that we are well aware of the quality (or lack there of lol) of the finished product of any RV manufacturer. The problem here is- we were guaranteed that it was in tip-top shape. We are on our 3rd RV and that statement holds its weight in gold, as any avid owner would understand. If you think about it, this purchase is quite similar to that of purchasing a home. It's a large sum of money so it had better be worth it. Also, we are not naive. There will always be something to repair or improve upon. This is a common and accurate sense of awareness for purchasers of RVs. With that said, on the day of pick up, we arrived as scheduled only to wait 35 minutes to be tended to. Delays happen, we get it. There was far more excitement on the "welcome" chalkboard and overly-energetic woman holding the "Lerch RV made my dreams come true" (or some equally as corny shit) sign than there was for us to finally inspect the unit. This should have been our first red flag. Finally, we met with a "technician" who walked us through the exterior & interior features of the unit. At first glance, the unit hadn't been prepared for delivery as promised. It was dirty, stained and really quite unsavory to look at. Upon entering the interior, we immediately noticed holes in the walls, torn flooring, crooked/cracked molding, misaligned cabinets & dressers...not to mention that every surface (including cabinets and countertops) was either scratched, gauged or discolored. Completely unacceptable. The owner, Ed Lerch, along with the salesperson and technician, visited us during our tour and stated that most people wouldn't have noticed the issues we did and would have just taken delivery. Quite a bold statement for a man with an RV that had more imperfections in it than it does windows & doors...but I digress. After no resolution could be found, we decided not to move forward. As to be expected, right? The general consensus of the staff was that "it is what it is". Needless to say we canceled the order, deposits, insurance, financing, etc. A pretty big headache to be honest. Driving back home disappointed and crushed, we decided to visit a different dealership after our son found a similar (exact) unit online. At this dealership, we found the exact unit we wanted with fantastic craftsmanship (minus a few minor cosmetic blemishes-as to be expected) and a no BS approach to repairs. An identical unit, without the abundance of repairs and issues. According to Lerch, "they're all like this". The experience we received at this other dealer in comparison to Lerch was bar none. Quite frankly, I wouldn't buy a fly trap from Lerch, never mind an RV. Stay away....unless you aren't aware and/or observant. According to the stuttering owner, they can't control what the factory does. Which is absolutely correct but you can control what your dealership accepts as an appropriate representation of YOUR business. Waste of time and money. If we were you, avoid at all costs.

I was hired by Staci Lerch to deliver a 50 foot RV to Kansas. I very was hesitant at first because I have no experience driving or operating RVs, much less one of this size and complexity. I was assured I would receive training on the vehicle before I left. I got no training despite coming to Lerch RV several times and repeatedly vocalizing my concerns over my blatant inexperience and lack of knowledge. Staci could not train me herself as she also has no experience using these vehicles. I was pressured into leaving anyway, with so little knowledge I didn't even know how to operate the toilet, much less the jacks and extensions and power and pumps. I quickly realized I had no basic fluids either, something I would have discovered sooner if I had been taught how to check. It never occurred to me that I would be asked to drive a vehicle that has not has received basic maintenance, nor bother to incruct me how before driving halfway across the country. It's unprofessional at best, and potentially dangerous. As you can imagine, I did not make it very far. I found myself stuck in a swamp, with no power, water, or heat, in severe winter weather all night. I don't understand why they would want a driver with zero experience to learn to drive and operate a complex, difficult to drive, not to mention under such stressful situations. They don't care about their emoyees or their product. They are liars and frauds. Cannot un recommend enough
