Keystone Springdale Mini reviews

We bought our trailer new in 2010. We camped in it off hand on for about 10 years. Then we sold our home and went on the road full time. We love the layout of our trailer. We spent last winter Boise and did very well even without skirting. I have fixed a few things hear and there but overall the unit has performed very well.. We pull it with a 2010 tundra with 10000# tow package. It is a double cab with 7.3 engine. Show less

Love the floor plan. But we have had several travel trailers. This one was an absolute nightmare. Air conditioner went out luckily it was replaced. The kitchen area slide had a very bad leak within the end of first year. Make sure you look underthe table along slideout floor edges. Terrible everytime it rains. Then my bedroom slide isnt coming in with either the motor or off track. So all these problems with a 2022 and here it is still 2024. If you’re buying a camper i highly recommend looking elsewhere. Unless your good with spending like $19,000 a year for two years. And praying for the best. I contacted Keystone and there warranties are absolutely worthless. They cover nothing! Slide motors arei guess only guaranteed for 1 year. This companies gladly takes your money but doesn’t care for you after that! All you get is an im sorry you feel that way! Plus this camper has sat still since purchase. So it was babied. Show less

This small travel trailer is perfect for couples. I love the floor plan, especially being able to access the bed and closets from both sides. The large full bathroom is definitely a plus and my 6’ husband can comfortably stand in the shower. The electric awning and tongue jack are great for us older folks. We replaced the plastic toilet with a porcelain one that won’t crack. Winterizing is fairly easy, as is re-coating the roof. We loved the ease of towing with our Jeep. Even fully loaded, the unit was easy to pull. The finishes inside are very nice! Even better than some comparable newer units we looked at before purchasing the Springdale mini. Best unit you can get under $20,000 in my opinion! Show less

It’s a beautiful travel trailer with all the bells and whistles! Although none of the plumbing have never been used, it’s lovely just sitting in there and relaxing! I love the look inside with a nice size fridge stove/oven microwave and tv. It has everything to go on your special trip! Show less

We have owned this Travel trailer for two years now and we love it! The only problems we have had has been the dometic toilet valve that we have had to replace twice.. I have also been impressed with the Spec tires that came with the unit. We have put around 2500 miles so far and are enjoying it. We haven’t used the warranty so I can’t speak on it. There is always going to be trouble but just go with the punches and enjoy yourself. Show less

My family fell in love with the layout of this rear bunkhouse 5th wheel. It is listed in the light weight group that means you can easily pull with a 3/4 ton gasser. It actually pulls better than expected with no tail wag. The kitchen/living room area is very ope with two recliners, fireplace, and u shaped dinette. The rear bunk house is amazing with lots of space for the kids. Two bunks plus lower couch that folds out into a bed also. Three TV hook ups make this a great RV for those rainy weekends inside. I would highly recommend this RV to my friends as it’s a great investment for family and friends Show less

I bought the camper new and had it placed on a seasonal site. It has no road miles except for initial moving to site. So far 2 of the 3 slide outs have to be opened and closed manually for closing for season. The 12 volt lighting system in front half of camper don't work. This yr just for kicks the grey water tank fell out. So all in all it was probably a Friday built before a holiday weekend. I have contacted Keystone, but they must still be out for Covid. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy. Thanks for your time Show less

We bought the Springdale 293RK loved the coloring and the layout was what we were looking for. Once we started using it realized the craftsmanship was poor. It is like it was thrown together. Noticed in cupboard doors they pieced parts together a d can notice it more than when first got it. Can see the staple marks throughout the trailer. We already had a major leak in the outside quick connect the plastic nut they used cracked in half and water leaked out from under the trailer and in kitchen floor area. Got that fixed and the toilet foot pedal started leaking. The one shelf above the bed came apart and we have only had 1 year. We replaced the awning a couple of months after having it as we called the dealer they wanted to charge us to come to the seasonal site to look at it and tell us if it was covered under warranty but likely wouldn't be, so we had a.local RV repair shop come replace it. Now I get a.recall letter on the awning and have to fight with warranty company to get money back. Beware if gonna buy hope you never have to use the warranty. Show less

We purchased our springdale mini a 15 months ago and just like another reader we had to take it in after each use. Screws were falling out, Had a recall first 3 months of purchase. Leaky sink, now leaky spectic, leaky toliet. NOW THE SLIDEOUT WONT OPEN OUR TRAILER, I wished I read reviews before purchasing! . Just like other reader stuck! But if enough of us complain w/ BBB and call an attornery for a Class action maybe we can get some compensation or longer warranty on our RV's, I see older Rvs and people seemed very pleased. For my first time purchasing a big purchase I feel stressed and very upset and stuck with this trash. Looks nice but made very cheap and the compnay where I purchased should be shame to have this on their lots.. Show less

I’ve taken it on several trips with my Harley Triglide. Couches have fallen off the walls, two separate occurrences. The last one fell on my bike, causing damage. The design to secure these heavy couches is not nearly good enough. Warranty will not discuss the design, just want me to bring it in again. I am insisting on options to remediate this bad system before I waste time bringing it in. I’ll pay someone to do it right rather than waste my time. Back bumper starting to rust after a year. Other than these two issues it has towed well, very livable and been easy to use. More storage would be an improvement. Show less
