In 2018 we bought this Heartland Wilderness 27.5. BRAIN NEW. To start with. We found issues when we did the walk through on it. The dealer said NO problem we'll schedule to fix them. Couldn't get a spot scheduled for six mths. When it was about time to get the repairs. The dealer was moving their shop so we were put off for 4 mths. waiting to get a spot, again 6 mths. out. Now the warranty is off. And we've experienced a leak in one of the slides. And the screws at the front roof seem are popping. And nails in the paneling are popping. Windows leaking. No problem we had paid for the extended warranty. So we thought. Then we were told that the manufactured defects aren't covered by extended warranty. Meanwhile more problems. When we did get it into the shop. The dealer spent 4 mths blowing smoke UOA and only connected 2 lights that had not worked from day one. At that point they were closing their shop because of Covid. Since then we've fixed some of the roof leeks ourself. And started to work on some of the other problems. When upgrading lighting we've discovered no insulation in a lot of the ceiling. Same thing in walls. Hole stud spaces with NO insulation at all. In inspecting windows leeks we've found more broke screws. Like in the roof. Seems like over torking was popular everywhere. We had bought this trailer for OUR retirement. Paid top dollar thinking we were getting a quality trailer. WE DID NOT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRAILER OR THIS MANUFACTURE FOR ANYTHING.

This is the best floor plan for living that we have ever found. We like the large kitchen, residential fridge, open floorplan to the living and entertainment from the kitchen. TV facing reclining theatre seating is great, plus two full size pull out couches for occasional guests are very convenient. This RV has a large 30"x60" shower with skylight. The bedroom has 2 separate chest of drawers, divided closet, w/ extra shelving, a security safe, and Dyson cordless vacuum. On board washer and dryer, makes life on the road so much easier. The powered King Jack antenna provides over the air channels to a 30" smart TV in the bedroom and 55" smart TV in the living room. It's easy to setup with 6 point autolevel and hydraulic slideouts.

Hello, I am writing to you because, as new owners of a 2023 Heartland Fuel 395 (purchased March 28, 2024), we brought our camper in for warranty service work to address several issues, one we feel is pretty major, which our dealer/service provider would not correct. Camping World located on West Freeway Drive in Hugo, Minnesota is our dealer/ service provider. Since just before our first trip, we noticed a loud squeak in the floor in the kitchen area in front of the refrigerator. See attached video, taken on May 10, 2024. It is loud and annoying. It is in a high traffic area. Camping World service said they would not fix it (under warranty) because Heartland told them it would not authorize it to be fixed because it is “within specs”. We feel this is unacceptable. This camper’s MSRP is upwards of $100,000. We have had a 5th wheel toy hauler in the past. Two of our family members have similar toy haulers. None have had an issue such as this. We would appreciate someone from Heartland contacting us to address this concern. Response: This has been reviewed by my management team. Please see page 6 in the attached owner’s manual we have for all of our RV’s. On page 6, under what is not covered, does state Accessories and equipment that are working as designed, but which owner is unhappy with the design. We always want to do what we can to help all of our retail customers. In this case, Heartland RV respectfully declines warranty assistance for this issue, and will continue to work with you under Heartland RV warranty policies and guidelines. D. We purchased this RV used and have owned it for four years. We moved to a much more expensive location that we anticipated being a relatively short-term stay. As such we chose to live more affordably and to escape the higher crime rates of cities by living outside of the city in a neighboring small town. We had it towed for us so between that and owning it well after the warranty expired we cannot speak to those. RV's really are not made for full time living so we anticipated having repairs to make and we have had to make a few. Because I am pretty handy they were reasonably affordable fixes. 39 feet of living space with four slide outs (two of them opposing each other in the living room) make for a pretty large living space as RV's go. These three years have had some challenges, but it is TOTALLY livable.

Problem now is the Alpha TPO roof has failed and I need to replace rotten wood and install a new membrane. Alpha Systems are supposed to be warranteed for 12 years and like all of the RV companies I have yet to hear back from them in regards to the warranty. I have inspected, washed and caulked every year. When not in use I have a very expensive waterproof Cover for it. Anyone else have a Alpha Systems roof failer. ??

Ive had my prowler for 2 years now. I wish I could say I've enjoyed it the whole time, but quality issues and support have been a real problem. We went with this trailer due to the bunk hose and a bath and a half. Plenty of room for us. Heartlands website praised the quality control aspect of things and how they build better than the rest. I've had plumbing leaks. I replumbed all water lines in the trailer to fix leaks and prevent future leaks due to chaffing. All the interior walls are peeling. I had to re wire my interior fridge due to it shutting off. The awning ripped on our second trip and was not covered. After a year the awning motor needed to be replaced. After many trips screw tips are now pultruding from the siding. The under belly panels of the trailer are falling down and duck tapped where cuts were made after it was installed. Ive taken it to the dealer for it to sit for a year. Not everything was done but I could use it. Picked up nothing was fixed! still have many water leaks inside from the interior plumbing. After calling heartland I found out the dealer never even started the claim. They gave me a list of dealers to use. All were booked really far out to the point where id go a whole season making payments and unable to use the trailer. I took things into my own hands and did the repairs. The more I dig into this trailer to more quality and workmanship issues I find. A lot of spot with no wall insulation, and NO INSULATION in my roof. No wonder it's pre wired for a second ac unit. The single unit can't keep up in 80+ deg weather. I would not recommend purchasing a heartland trailer.

We enjoy the R/V for camping and getaways. When looking for a R/V we wanted something that had a door to be closed off to the bedroom for privacy. Another aspect we liked about this model is it did NOT have bunk beds. In this version the dining room table and couch fold out for extra beds. But it is most comfortable for two people. We made some modifications to the R/V such as replacing all the plastic factory fixtures and the bathroom door. We replaced the bathroom door with a accordion door, as the original could not be closed when using the foldout couch to accomodate guests. Overall a very good experience size wise and layout for us!

I bought my 2023 Heartland Big Country 3200 RLK brand new in April 2023 and have had quite a few issues with it. To start with, the landing gear/leveling jacks have never worked properly, nor does auto level feature work, had it re-calibrated at the dealer and still doesn’t work properly. The ducted air conditioning system does not cool the RV very well, any temperatures over 95 degrees and the air conditioners cannot keep up (having two 15k BTU A/C’s this rv should have no problem keeping cool). One of the bed struts in the under bed storage area broke off the second time I lifted the bed to put something in that storage compartment. The shower liner began delaminating from the wall after three months of usage. The black and grey water tank vents were not hooked up properly and would vent those disgusting gasses into the RV. Some other small things I found wrong with the RV are as follows: The sound bar in the entertainment system was not connected, the handrail for the stairs began to come apart, the Winegard 5g WiFi system was not connected/working, wood trim for the faux shutter window in the bedroom fell off and hit me in the head while sleeping, and many pieces of hardware on the exterior of the fifth wheel have required tightening or have fallen off (wheel skirts, hand rail, reflectors, etc). Lastly, the refrigerator condensation drain doesn’t work, there’s always water all over everything in the fridge. For a fifth wheel that has an MSRP of over 100k (according to Heartland RV), I’ve been pretty disappointed. The one year warranty is a joke as well but at least Heartland covered most of the above mentioned issues before the 1 yr warranty expired. I recommend buying from an RV manufacturer with better quality control and better warranty.
