We shopped for many months before deciding on our new Travel Trailer named - Polaris - True North Star. We have had him for a couple months and been out 3 weekends already getting ready for the season. We love the layout and color scheme. Bedroom is awesome, living area open and so many windows. The bunk room in back has been converted into our 3 Labs living area. They love it. Pulls very well with my Ram 1500. We are ready to start using about every weekend until this fall. Heartland makes a solid product and can't wait to explore.

Stay away from Heartland Trail Runner 325 ODK. Probably stay away from all of their products. The dealer had our unit for most of the first 18 months of ownership rebuilding most of the unit. Shoddy workmanship from the factory looked like a drunk 12 year old put it together. Also don’t forget the surface rust on over 50% of the frame during the first inspection when we went to pick it up… hadn’t even taken possession of it yet it’s already rusting? Too much to list, the dealer practically disassembled and reassembled everything.
With the amount of hours the dealer had invested in this unit there is no way they made any money on it. Any dealer selling their products should stop immediately. Don’t let Heartland ruin your businesses reputation if you are a dealer. If you’re going to buy one of these look around closely, nothing will be level, straight, or attached correctly.

After having my water heater replaced (only 4 years old and hardly used) for a couple thousand dollars. I also had to buy $500 worth of batteries and I can’t even charge my phone. The water pump looks like it was just thrown in there under the sink, and the furniture is peeling off the what would be leather. CHEAP CHINESE JUNK THAT DOESN’T LAST A COUPLE YEARS WITH VERY LITTLE USE. ALSO MY TIRES HAVE A DATE STAMP OF PRE 2018. THE TIRES ARE OLDER THAN THE CAMPER!!! Everything is breaking and the manufacturer or dealer is no help. Put them out of business!! What’s next? Am I going to burn alive because the furnace exploded???

Had a hard time finding someone to fix it because of heartland poor customer experience. They said send back the parts and you receipt we will refund you. They only refunded 1/3 of what i was charged. Been checking around and being told Heartland dont take care of their customers. They have a QC problem.

The craftsmanship is TERRIBLE!!! they should really do quality checks before releasing to dealers!
I would NEVER buy this brand again!

We traveled over 5000 miles and we had no issues. Since then we have stayed closer to home and have experienced only a couple minor issues that were easy to fix. We are very happy with our North Trail and we are already planning another long trip out west for 2023.

Run as far away from this manufacturer as you can! We purchased a 2022 on 9/28/21 from a dealer in Frederick, Maryland. This was the first mistake. Cannot yet speak of them since their company still has the unit! Walk through was subpar at best, basic operations we knew mostly of. Heartland also does not provide Owners manuals any longer. States "they don't change very much you have to print it off line"!
Couple of issues, AC in bedroom not working, TV has a large scratch, excessive glue all over, and some nicks in the paint/walls, etc. Advised make sure we go through this thoroughly within 60 days because the "warranty" says a year, but "you know how that goes". Told AC fixed, was not. They took another tv from another unit, it rubbed the top of our cabinet and my husband had to adjust it, touch up paint speared everywhere and glue, well they cleaned as best as they could. 10/8/21 reported to dealer issues, 1/2 of stovetop cover missing, tv issue, microwave in crooked, etc. Crickets, no response. First trip, last week of October 2021 - water pouring in unit during storm, dining table not anchored to the floor, only carpet, microwave screws fell out when arriving in site (not screwed to anything) bathroom light switch not screwed in, and the list goes on. Called dealer in panic 10/29/21 when water was coming in, advised "we are so sorry but you need to contact the manufacturer". Fast forward 7 months worth of warranty repairs, unit at different dealer location (thank goodness!) and tarped rear of unit to keep water from coming in. Was told factory never finished the 3rd and final sealant stop on 1/3 (rear) of the unit before releasing from factory. One trip out Memorial day 2022, slide out making popping and jumping sound, has to go back to dealer. June 30, 2022 arrived at site to find no power in unit, dead in the water, part of ceiling "drooping" and cabinet doors hitting it. $900 in trip and fuel lost - had to turn around and come home. Manually opening slide and using jack. Back at dealer service 7/20/22 - waiting for answers. Only ever able to speak to one customer service representative which will not give any additional names or numbers. Her advisement "take it to the dealer for warranty consideration". Robots! They have covered all work but what next??? What happens when the "1 year" warranty expires 9/28/22??? Advised by customer service rep "Heartland does not buy back units"! Even if they release them from the factory before they are actually finished! Oh and Heartland offered to send a truck to pick it up and take back to Indiana but we would have to make the trip from MD to them, at our cost, they reimburse nothing! If this would have been the case I would be sending it back for the 3rd time! More to come!!
