Forgot to mention how poor the owners manual is. Heartland has NO technical manual and the owners manual is a General manual that covers multiple models. If I had known that I could NOT get a technical manual when I bought this rig, I wouldn’t have bought it! Plus nothing is marked except for someone’s scribble. Heartland can’t afford a label maker?? Give me a break! Check out my YouTube channel @CrazyandtheMexican for a video detailing the little issues? Like the cable TV connections in the “wet” bay!

So… we have had this 2023 Cyclone for a little more than a month and we have to take it back to the deal ship to fix a couple of issues. First, the bedroom slide will not retract or open without banging your knee against the tilted bed. Something to do with the switch that makes sure the bed is in the tilt position before it will operate the slide mechanism. 2nd, some of the CFI protected outlets are NOT working. The main CFI is in the bathroom and it works and the CFI under the cabinet where the sink is works but the CFI outlets on the shared garage wall in the kitchen, none of those outlets work. 3. The auto Jack system should go to hitch height by pressing a button. It doesn’t. Keeps giving me errors. No big deal! Just use the manual up and down button and once you have them extended, auto level works. It’s just a pain in the ass that you have a button that automatically raises your camper to hitch height but that doesn’t work. Everything else is great! Love the freedom we have with this unit. I just think Heartland doesn’t give a shit about what their customers think of their unit like Grand Design does. If Heartland would take the feedback of their customers, fix the little things and NOT cheap out on some things, they could complete with Grand Design or Keystone.

This trailer has been fantastic for 9 years and is still fantastic. When loaded for a beach trip, we are over 20,000 lbs and you don’t know it’s back there. We did have a small issue in September, 2021 when we were having the trailer Winterized and washed at General RV. They were on the roof and noticed a soft spot near the front A/C unit. As it turned out, that unit was installed incorrectly from Heartland in 2014. They stapled through the roof in the wrong direction and water got in and rotted the roof through the years. General RV in Canton, Ohio took the time and pictures and sent everything to Heartland. Heartland agreed that this was 100% their mistake. After 9 years (obviously outside of any warranty coverage), Heartland told us if we would pull the trailer to their facility in Indiana, they would completely tear off the old roof and install a new roof. Obviously, that is what we did and we currently have a 2014 trailer and a 2 year old roof. Our next trailer will be a Heartland.

We have absolutely loved our 2021 Heartland Cyclone 4007! When searching for an RV to fit our needs and wants we looked at Class A’s, bunkhouse fifthwheels and several brands and models of toy haulers and ultimately fell in love with the features, functionality, quality, and floor plan of the 4007!
This unit boasts a spacious kitchen and living area with lots of storage. The 13’ garage we converted to a kids space with a full platform bed on the lower happijac and used the upper happijac bunk for storage. Also added cabinets for additional storage and we’re still able to travel with our lifted golf cart in the garage! The loft being in the garage and not the main living space was a plus for us as well- and the half bath was perfect for kiddos to have their own bathroom. Moving to the front Master you’ll notice a huge space with large closet- a fire place and pull out desk with large panoramic window, effectively converting the bedroom to an office by day and then raise the TV on the televator in the cabinet and you have a great space to cuddle up and watch a movie! The main bathroom is functional and offers a large bathtub/shower combo… the back party deck was great for sitting out on and taking in the views…. The outdoor kitchen with fridge worked out well for us on those days we just wanted to be outside. Huge pass thru storage ensures there isn’t anything you’ll need to leave behind! The generator powers the entire rig on those more adventurous getaways and the 50 gallon fuel capacity makes sure you can make a full weekend of it! We also made many improvements to this rig making it even more enjoyable!

Purchased new in June 2022. Plumbing vented incorrectly, electric hot water heater almost caused a fire, main living room slide hydraulic fluid leak, living room tv fell off wall during initial overnight at dealers, three season doors for toy hauler still missing (now October), Warrenty support all lip service. Dealer and manufacturer have been anything but helpful. Stay away from Heartland unless you want heartache.
