I so appreciate the solid wood work. No sawdust boards, everything is solid wood with beautiful finishes and workmanship...
As with all Rvs there are repairs that are needed occasionally as well as maintenance.

We weren't originally looking for a Tiffin as our previous class A was an older Winnebago and our budget really didn't allow us to purchase new.
That being said we quickly realized through our extensive research that short of a diesel pusher 500+ luxury coach, Tiffen was by far a superior quality motorhome in almost every way.
We managed to find a one owner Tiffin just a few years old and with only 9K miles on it. Although we had no factory warranty, for us any factory issues had already been taken care of so we were good to go and found the coach to be perfectly reliable with absolutely no issues.
As far as comfort, this coach did ride a little rough with the F53 Chassis so we added Sumo Springs and the Safety Plus Steering Stabilizer. Now it breezes down the road with very little wander.
Livability inside is awesome, we honestly spent 3 months on the road and didn't want to come home, it's so comfortable!
Memory Foam beds, on demand water heater, residential fridge, quality seating and Cabinetry, quality sinks and shower, no cheap plastic, heated storage bays, outside TV and shower, the list goes on.
Even dealers told us Tiffin is much better than its rivals in that class.
We stretched a bit to get it but we quickly realized we didn't regret it at all.
Love it, Love it, Love it

My wife and I owned a 1988 Winnebago a few years ago but it seemed like every time we went camping something would break down. It was older I admit but the wood frame walls and overall build just wasn't that good
Fast forward to last year, we knew we wanted a little better quality this time and after a ton of research we discovered Tiffin is the top of the line for affordable coaches. Yes you can spend 250K up for an actual motor coach but if you're like us, that doesn't fit the budget.
There are so many things about the Tiffin that are better. Just a few I can think of are, Aluminum frame walls so you don't get all that flexing going down the road. One piece roof with front and rear caps for superior weather protection. HD Ford F53 truck chassis. Actual acrylic Shower, not that flimsy plastic. Real sinks. Actual wood cabinets with solid wood doors. Flexsteel furniture, Quality flooring and carpet, exterior cameras, navigation, automatic, hydraulic leveling (very nice) and hydraulic slide outs for the front (rear are electric for some reason). closets have motion sensitive lights, HVAC ducts are in the ceiling and duct into all the spaces separately, not one large hole front and back. heated water and tank bays. On demand water heater (also Very nice), residential fridge, fireplace. I could go on but you get it.
Do yourself a favor spend a little extra over what you were thinking and get a Tiffin with a ton more quality and features. You'll thank yourself later. We bought a 2020 because it was built prior to covid, had 9K miles on it and it was the exact interior Mocha, off white, neutral colors we had to have. Also had all the features we wanted.
Regarding the ratings I've given, our motorhome was not in warranty when we bought it, so we don't have first hand experience with the factor support. We were told however from the 1st owner that it's great. Since we don't know, assume 4 stars.
We're selling it now because we're moving to CA and won't need it but we found it SO comfortable, one month turned into 2 and 3. We didn't want to go home and we will miss it for sure!
It's for sale on Facebook marketplace and also RV Trader if you're interested check it out.

This 2012 Tiffin Open Road TGA34 is my 2nd Tiffin coach. I have owned it for 5 years without any issues with engine, transmission, slides or jacks. Upgrade mid coach TV to 40" smart TV. My wife and I snowbird for 3 months every winter and find the floor plan and amenities perfect for us. Great plan as they say 6 for cocktails, 4 for dinner, 2 for the night although grandkids have spent many nights on air coil pull out sofa. We enjoy our hot spot for internet connection to view our favorite apps Netflix ect. Bath arrangement for getting dressed to go out is perfect with each of us having our own separate sink and mirror medicine cabins. The bed is a queen that is longer than most RV queen mattresses. Day and night shades provide privacy and the windshield electric shades feature is really convenient. The maintenance annual cost has been surprisingly low. Could not have bought a 5 year old unit as good as this one has been. I did not add any upgrades to chassis like kona shocks or T-safe and we drive southern Colorado through NM in strong wind and winter weather and never felt the need to change the factory set up. It may have made some improvements but the factory set up worked well.. If it wasn't for my deteriorating health I would Keep this coach until we are both are worn out.

Family member bought this unit from Arv dealership and boy. We got the runaround everything worked on it. Minus the fact that we had to replace all the leveling jacks Found out that there was wiring issues wrong with it like the reverse lights didn't work and then found out when we took it on a month on vacation. It had a blown head gasket.
But The dealership said everything worked fine on it as they wouldn't give it to us. But at five days after we purchased it. So we get at home and that's when we found out that the leveling jacks didn't work properly. And then later down the road. We found out that the staircase quit working. And then he refrigerator wasn't covered under the warranty. Because it is a household refrigerator. Then we found out the wiring was coming bad because it had rats.
And the reverse lights quit working and if you touch the mirrors while it's plugged in to an outlet, it will shock you Because it has a short somewhere. Ended up dropping about $4000 into the AC unit in the cab.
To replace parts in labor. About every 500 miles, you would have to add water or anti freeze to the radiator 'cause. It goes through half a gallon due to the head gasket.
I mean, the list goes on, but we turned it in. For something that's way younger and then found out and the new unit that we have. It was well used with super glue from the previous owners. I suggest you if you're looking for a unit. Make sure you go through like fine-tooth-comb in find anything in everything. That is wrong with it and then talk about the numbers if you're wanting to get that unit. Not to mention that. I just dropped $1500 worth of 6 V batteries in this unit. A week after I bought it. Now there is some good comes out of it. Because Tiffin makes a really good motorhome. The comfortable they're spacious in the ride very smoothly.

V10 engine has plenty of power for climbing hills and the long wheel base keeps it stable. Engine noise is dampened by Tiffin's sound proofing.
Issues have been replacing step motor twice. Replacing shuttle valve for the jacks. Adjustment of the door. Left lean, which was remedied with a spacer.
Some issues with the dash AC and cameras were easily fixed by Tiffin techs at a Rally, for free. The Dealer didn't have a clue.

Had this unit for 2 years. Zero issues. Wish it was a diesel because of towing power up hills. Fit and finish are awesome. I would highly recommend this model for anyone who has a family or grandparents with grand children. I just replace the carburetor on the generator because it sat with fuel in it over the winter. I also put gold shocks on to help with sway control. I also added a spring loaded driver assist. Helps greatly in wind.

Currently owning a 2022 Open Road 32 SA, I can say that this coach has the best floor plan, for a unit this size. When the slides are retracted, for driving, one can still, easily walk down the aisle to the restroom, or bedroom.
A window over the length of the kitchen-counter, makes fixing meals or snacks a delight, because of the bright and cheerful kitchen., with a outside view!
And who doesn't love a seat in the shower? For the senior-campers, it's a god-send!
The holding tanks are superior, in this size RV - Gray - 66 gal; Black - 50 gal., allowing for extended dry-camping (boon-docking). We've done 2 weeks straight, dry-camping in this unit.
The new Ford V-8 gas engine gets alot better gas-mileage than the old V-10s! From Red Bay, AL, to Grand Rapids, MI, to Las Vegas, we got 9.4 mpg! In our prior RV, a 32 ft. Class A, gas, we got 6.25 mpg.
The multi-color fireplace and bedroom ceiling fan will keep you comfortable on cool, or hot days!
We really love the automatic front windshield shades! One shade is a see-thru-sun-shade, to be used while driving, plus there is a black-out privacy shade. All windows have sun-shades and black-out shades.
And who has left a coach, with the awning out, only to have a strong wind come up? No worries - this coach has a wind-sensitive, automatic awning retracting sensor. To protect the awning from the elements, while traveling, it is completely enclosed by an awning-housing.
Our fox-terrier loves the doggie window, lying in his bed, by it, and looking out at the scenery!
You can't go wrong with this model!
